Happiness is an emotion that's not profitable, measurable, or tradable, yet above all the elements, it's what people seek. The feeling is exceedingly challenging to grasp in one hand, even though it is what people want.

For the last couple of months, I've known what this affection has been all about. Eight months have passed since my relationship with Brian had increased enormously. We've accomplished so much together. We have been witnessed to many incredible things as well, like the amazing blossomed love of our close friends.

Anna and Matt were planning their upcoming wedding. He had asked her out almost seven months ago, and they couldn't be happier. I was delighted for her. They both deserved each other, and reuniting themselves was the best thing that could happen.

For the past months, I've been working a lot to accomplish my next goal of owning a restaurant. I had plans to open it in Huntington since it was time to move back to my birth and home place. It was easier for both Brian and me, but also the best decision to make.

Walking hand in hand, Brian and I approached the rest of the band and Anna, who stood in a circle in the backstage of the arena. We were in Madison Square Garden in New York, where Avenged Sevenfold would perform the first concert of their new album. We were all excited about it.

So far, everything had been a dream come true for all of us. Anna, the band, and people that worked for the band interlocked their hands together, waiting for Matt's usual prayer. Brian and I joined the circle, and together we prayed for a great show, dedicating it to Jimmy, like the guys always did.

Once the chant was over, the band took their usual spots as Anna, and I walked to the area where it was best to watch our men perform. "I love you," Brian whispered before he kissed my lips slowly.

"I love you too, baby. Have a great show," I responded with a smile. He nodded his head and walked away. Anna and Matt repeated the same action, and soon the guys were on the stage.

Anna and I watched their performance, and as every bit of the rhythm was heard, we enjoyed the same, singing the lyrics along.

"I have to tell you something," Anna expressed when Matt was asking the audience if they were having a great time.

"What is it?" I asked with curiosity. Anna glanced at Matt and then at me. She repeated the action two more times before she gulped.

"Anna? You are scaring me. What is it? Are you and Matt alright? Please, don't tell me you have cold feet!" I stated nervously. She laughed and shook her head.

"No. What I am about to tell you no one knows except Matt and me, of course. He didn't want to tell anyone yet, but you are my best friend and like my sister, and before we tell everyone, I needed to tell you," she explained, making me more nervous.

"Please, spill it already!" I snapped frustrated, making her laugh.

"Matt and I are having a baby," she said excitedly.

"What? Oh, my God! Are you serious? That's amazing!" I expressed, hugging my best friend.

"We found out a few days ago. We wanted to make sure everything is going how it is supposed to, that's why Matt doesn't want to say anything yet. We have an appointment in a week. I just couldn't wait to tell you," she stated, tearing herself up a bit.

I felt the tears run down my face as well, and we both laughed at our similar silliness.

"At least these are happy tears," I rejoiced, making her laugh.

"Don't tell anyone."

"Not a soul!"

Embracing each other, we continued to watch the show, which was succeeding to perfection. The fans screamed the band's name. They sang the lyrics along, letting us know how much fulfillment they were experiencing.

As soon as the next song was over, Matt spoke.

"How many of you believe in love?"

The fans shouted so hard that I felt like the arena was going to explode.

"That's good to know. It's amazing being in love, isn't it?" Matt expressed, walking closer to Brian, who was smiling from ear to ear.

"Syn? It is great, isn't it?" Matt asked his best friend, who nodded in agreement.

Matt gave Brian the microphone, and my heart skipped a bit. My face became redder by the minute.

"Love is amazing. If you have it, and if it's real, make sure you never let it go. I am in love with an amazing woman who makes me the happiest man on the planet. I love her so much that I want her to come to the stage. I want everyone here tonight to be the witness of it," Brian said, making me shockingly unable to breathe. I shook my head in nervousness. I observed how Brian was smiling, and my heartfelt like it wanted to escape from my chest.

I was never one to be the center of attention. When the media found out that Brian was dating a woman like me, it was both good and bad.

It was good because many people were honestly happy about our relationship, while some fans were not fans at all. I was subjected to many insults and comments that, for a moment, were hurtful.

I always knew that some people were not going to like the idea of someone like Brian loving someone like me. The love we had for each other was extraordinarily strong. I was stronger. I removed from my existence all the insecurities that roamed, leaving only the good and positive vibes of our relationship. It made us powerful against those who hated the idea of us together.

Anna gave me a slight push towards the front, making me accept what was coming. I walked over to the stage and felt overwhelmed when the fans applauded. I was happy to know that the real fans of the band were there that night.

"Hey baby," Brian greeted, kissing the top of my head.

"Zacky, help me out here, please?" Brian said, removing the guitar cord from his neck, giving it to his friend.

"Lilian, what I am about to tell you, I do so every day and every night. You are the best thing that happened to me. You are my strength, my weakness, and my destiny. I love you with all my heart, and I wouldn't live without you. You are everything to me, and in front of the amazing people of New York, I want to ask you an especially important question," he expressed, smiling.

Tears started to run down my face as my hands trembled in nervousness. I knew what was coming, and I wasn't expecting it at all. Brian took out from one of his pants' pocket a small box as he knelt in one knee. He grabbed my left hand in his right after he opened the box, showing a beautiful and vibrant diamond ring.

Putting his microphone back in front of his lips, he said, "Would you give me the honor of becoming my wife?"

"Yes!" I cried in happiness. Brian stood up, and soon our lips connected. Hearing the crow chant his name and applaud in excitement, I continued to cry and smile.

"She said, yes!" Brian shouted, making me laugh. He put the ring on my finger before we kissed one more time. It was definitely the second-best time of my life, because the first was meeting him for the first time.
