Chapter 4: Elemental Battle

Everyone else was shocked to hear that question from Boboiboy. Fang jumped in, breaking the silence, "Boboiboy, what kind of question is that?! What if she gets hurt?! Badly, even!" Before Boboiboy could reason with Fang, Sabriye assured him with a smile, "Fang, it's fine. I already know what my powers are and I have full control over it. Therefore, I accept your battle, Boboiboy."

However, Admiral Tarung wasn't convinced, "Are you sure, Sabriye? Fang might be right." Apparently, Admiral Tarung was worried for Sabriye. "Worry not, Admiral. I'll be fine," Sabriye reassured him in an unusually formal manner that could surprise anyone who knew her well. She was already quite formal with certain people, like teachers, back home but this was even more formal than her usual formal self, given her choice of words towards Admiral Tarung.

Admiral Tarung sighed in slight defeat and nodded in approval. "However, if I tell you to stop the battle, I mean it," Admiral Tarung informed. Sabriye smiled softly and nodded as thanks. Boboiboy and Sabriye went to their positions on each end of the arena. "Are you ready?" Admiral Tarung asked, getting a nod from each of them as a response.

Admiral Tarung brought his hand down, signaling that the battle had started. Just as predicted, Boboiboy transformed into Thunderstorm and charged at Sabriye, with his Thunder Blade in hand. Right before the blade could touch her, Protect was used, catching everyone, but Fang, Sai and Shielda, by surprise.

Sabriye smirked and using Substitute, disappearing into thin air and reappeared behind Thunderstorm. Fortunately for him, he noticed Sabriye preparing a move, Hyper Beam, and dodged before it hit him. Before Thunderstorm could hit Sabriye again, she used Protect again.

However, she had a trick up her sleeve that no one expected. She bended the barrier forward, blocking the blade, rolled over it and kicked Thunderstorm in the face, launching him backwards. The audience winced, knowing how much that could hurt.

Frustrated, Thunderstorm transformed into Cyclone and threw his Cyclone Spheres at Sabriye. The latter had another trick up sleeve; Sabriye transformed into Water, again, catching everyone else by surprise. It was as if Sabriye never fails to surprise them.

Immediately, Water used Bubble and threw the bubbles at each of the cyclone spheres, slowing them down. Using the time bought, Water rolled under every cyclone sphere and used Hydro Pump against Cyclone the second after she dodged the attack.

Due to being hit by Water's Hydro Pump, Boboiboy was launched backwards at a wall. Knowing how bad that might hurt, Water hollered an apology. When Boboiboy assured her that he was fine and dandy, she wasn't convinced. He noticed her look of worry and gave her a thumbs-up for reassurance.

Water sighed in relief and resumed the battle. Immediately, Cyclone transformed into Quake and used Earth Barrier against Water, trapping her in there. The next thing he knew was that he saw vines breaking out of the barrier and out came a different form of Sabriye - Grass.

It seemed like Grass has the upper hand now. Quake used Rock Throw against Grass and, of course, she dodged it. After she moved out of the way, she used Vine Whip to tie Quake's leg and threw him upwards. Before the Earth Barrier could disappear, Grass climbed up the barrier, jumped from it and used Energy Ball against Quake while he was still in the air.

While falling, Quake used Earth Ball and landed on the ground, causing the metal floor to break the Earth Ball, without injuring himself, much to Grass's relief. Quickly, Quake transformed into Blaze, leaving the upper hand to him. Grass quickly used Tall Grass Barrier to protect herself and, more importantly, to buy her some time.

Of course, Blaze was busy throwing fireballs at the barrier and all of a sudden, a water beam appeared out of the barrier. That same beam kept launching at Blaze non-stop until Blaze transformed into Ice and froze the beam, with Water's hands frozen along with it.

"Looks like you're going to have to try a little harder than that, Sabes," Ice mocked, using a rather familiar nickname, much to Sabriye's disliking. "First off, don't call me Sabes. Second, I did try harder. That Hydro Pump was just a distraction. Now!" Water retorted and hit the deck, leaving Ice confused.

The second Ice looked behind him, a blast of flames were launched at him, sending to him to the wall again. Once he was back on his feet, he saw a certain someone that shocked him - Fire. How had he not notice her before? Abruptly, a shout was heard, "That's enough! This battle is over."

After Fire melted the ice off of Water's hands and merged back, Sabriye walked towards Boboiboy and lent a hand, asking worriedly, "You okay?" Boboiboy took the hand and nodded, causing a soft smile in relief to appear on Sabriye's face. "That was awesome, Sabriye! You gotta teach us your moves," Gopal complimented.

Sabriye smiled and responded, "Maybe I will." Just then, Admiral Tarung called for her. She walked towards Admiral Tarung, Commander Kokoci and Captain Kaizo and asked, again, in the same formal manner as before, "You called for me, Admiral?" He nodded and continued, "From what we saw from your battle with Boboiboy, I must say I am impressed," with a smile.

Sabriye smiled back and thanked him for the compliment. "We were discussing about something and thought if... you want to join TAPOPS," Admiral Tarung continued.
