Chapter 8: The Pranks

Sabriye was awoken at 5 in the morning from her slumber to the ringing from her phone. "Luckily, having an alarm actually works now. Back home, I can't even hear the alarm in my sleep!" Sabriye muttered. Suddenly, all the muttering she did so far reminded her of a certain someone from another universe. (A/N: MHA fans would know who I'm talking about. 😉)

After preparing for the day, she figured that she could explore the storage room for a bit before heading out, since she didn't have the chance to. While browsing through the boxes there, she found an air horn in one of the boxes. "Who would even have an air horn in here?" Sabriye wondered.

Abruptly, a light bulb lit up above her head. A malevolent smirk appeared on her face. It was time for her to pull off her little scheme. She made her way to Boboiboy and Gopal's room, with the help of the map of TAPOPS Station she had in her watch, air horn in hand. She was surprised that they didn't wake up to the sound of the door opening.

Trying to contain her laughter, she braced herself for the noise and flared the air horn. Boboiboy shot up and hit his head on the bottom of Gopal's bunk while Gopal fell out of his bunk, face-planting the floor. Sabriye started laughing at their reactions while the duo glared at her.

"Wow, never knew you're such a prankster," Boboiboy commented with a pout. "Says the guy with the Troublemaker Trio," Sabriye made a comeback. The duo looked at her confused. "Troublemaker Trio?" Gopal asked. Sabriye responded, "You have no idea? I meant Cyclone, Blaze and Thorn."

Boboiboy and Gopal blinked. "Is that a thing back in your world?" Boboiboy asked, receiving a nod as an answer. Sabriye then remembered something. "Oh yeah. I wasn't only going to prank you, ya know? Fang will be my next victim," Sabriye informed, smirking and rubbing her palms in a malicious way.

"Umm... Quick question," Boboiboy started, earning Sabriye's attention. "Why were you planning on pranking us in the first place?" Sabriye giggled before responding, "Well, I found this air horn in the storage and sort of craved for a little fun. Plus, it's not like you would wake up any sooner if I hadn't used the air horn. Besides, you should be thanking me. I saved you the trouble you would be likely to get with Admiral."

She wasn't wrong. If she hadn't woken the duo up, they would've been in hot water if the clock strikes 7. Seeing no point in arguing with her for that, they relented and got ready for the day, leaving Sabriye to start her next scheme. She reached Fang's door and prepared her voice.

Sabriye inhaled a good amount of air and hollered, "THERE'S A HUNDRED RED CARROT DONUTS IN THE CAFETERIA!" The next thing she knew is that she heard rushed footsteps behind the door and saw Fang running out of his room; she could've sworn she saw Fang drooling over his favourite treat.

Sabriye chased Fang towards the cafeteria and saw his reaction, "What?! Where are my precious red carrot donuts?!" Fang then heard laughter behind him and saw Sabriye at the entrance. "Gotcha! I knew you would fall for that," Sabriye said, followed by more laughter.

Fang began to pout at this. Noticing this, Sabriye attempted to cheer him up, "Hey, don't give me that pouty face. Tell you what, how about I repay you by getting a few red carrot donuts for lunch today? My treat. Deal?" This surely cheered him up and he nodded hastily, causing Sabriye to chuckle in amusement.

They left the cafeteria to meet up with the rest of the gang for the last-minute preparation they planned the day before. However, that wasn't the end of Sabriye's schemes; unknown to her victims, she had an unnoticeable smirk on her face as they were about to realise just how sneaky Sabriye could be.
