Upon arrival at the cafeteria, Sabriye immediately got lunch for herself and the red carrot donuts she promised for Fang. "Sabriye, you have an idea of what to cook for the next test?" Yaya asked. "Yup. Luckily, I have experience in cooking or I'll fail that test for sure," Sabriye responded.
"You're also lucky we looked through the recipes we suggested," Boboiboy added. "Oh, about that, I'm not going to use the recipes you guys gave me," Sabriye responded, earning confused expressions from the gang. "You wanna know why? I already thought of exactly what to make this morning. It just took me awhile to decide," Sabriye answered the question that appeared in their minds.
"It better be a good one," Fang responded. Sabriye glanced at him with an eyebrow raised as if she was looking for a challenge. "Are you underestimating my cooking?" Sabriye asked, with absolute seriousness. Fang mirrored her look.
"Just you wait till you actually taste it," Sabriye challenged. After lunch, they found themselves at the arena again. "I'm sure I don't need to explain the rules for this one either?" Sabriye shook her head, replying, "No, sir." Just then, a cooking table appeared, along with the ingredients.
"Let the test BEGIN!" Admiral Tarung announced and Sabriye split into two of her elements, Fire and Water (A/N: You know the song? 😏😂). Admiral Tarung and Commander Kokoci smiled at the idea of splitting. She should be cooking in pairs, after all.
Surprisingly, despite their differences, they were able to work together easily, unlike Boboiboy's elements, Fire and Water, a few years back, during their first battle with Captain Kaizo. After awhile, Fire and Water were done with their dish and merged back. Then, the taste test - the moment of truth - began.
"Mmm... Smells good. What is this?" Commander Kokoci asked. "It's Ratatouille. My grandmother's recipe," Sabriye replied nervously. Admiral Tarung took the first bite of it and Admiral Tarung's eyes widened. "This... is fantastic! This reminds me of my mother's noodles. 100 points!" Admiral remarked.
Sabriye gave him a wide smile and the gang congratulated her. Just then, Sabriye smirked. "Remember what I told you during lunch? Why don't you guys try it?" Sabriye suggested. "You too, Commander," Sabriye added, surprising him.
The gang walked towards the table everyone, but Sabriye and Admiral Tarung, took a bite each. They were all enjoying the taste of her Ratatouille. "Sabriye, I have an offer for you," Admiral Tarung spoke up, earning Sabriye's attention. "Would you like to make this for us every Saturday for dinner?"
Everyone else were flabbergasted to hear that. "It's okay if you don't want to. I understand," Admiral Tarung added. After a moment to think about it, Sabriye said, "Alright. As long as I don't drive the cooks out of business." Everyone chuckled at that statement.
With 100 points added to her points on her scoreboard, she pondered, 'Just one more test and then I should be qualified.' Admiral Tarung walked towards her and informed, "I know you know how the rules of the focus test work so we decided to change it up to something else."
That was when she realised that her practice for this test was a waste. On the bright side, she didn't have to feel uncomfortable during the test then. Sabriye noticed a table with cups, faced upside-down, a marble and a red pouch at the side of it. Her eyes lit up, noticing the display of her favourite focus test.
"I don't need to explain the rules for this one, since I presume you are familiar with this game. Let the focus test BEGIN!" Admiral Tarung announced. Fang shuffled the cups around, while Sabriye paid attention. After he was done, Sabriye immediately picked the right cup.
"That was easy," Sabriye remarked. Fang chuckled maliciously and responded, "We're just getting started, Sabriye," with a smirk. A similar smirk appeared on Sabriye's face, "You're right, Fang. It is, indeed." Their smirks, mostly Sabriye's, sent chills down everyone else's spines, including the higher-ups'.
Fang shuffled the cups around again, but with more speed than before and, again, it ended with the same result. "Not bad. But, this time, I'll trick you, for sure," Fang challenged and shuffled the cups around with more speed than before and passing the marble to each cup.
After the shuffling was done, Sabriye stood there for a moment, with a frown, in silence, as if she wasn't able to tell which cup has the marble. "What's wrong, Sabriye? Did I get you this time?" Fang mockingly asked. Just then, Sabriye chuckled, surprising and confusing everyone else.
"Oh, you didn't. I'll tell you my answer. It's actually..." Everyone else waited for her answer. "None of them," was her answer. Everyone, except Sabriye and Fang, who was sweating, responded, "What?!"
Sabriye smirked, "What? Don't believe me? Check the cups, Fang," Sabriye responded, casually. Nervously, Fang lifted the cups up and she was right; the marble was nowhere to be found on the table. Fang inhaled deeply and asked, pointing a finger at her, "Are you a psychic?!"
"No, I'm not. At least, not yet," Sabriye responded. With a sigh, Fang checked the pouch at the side of the table for the marble, only to find out it was missing. "Hey, where's the-" Fang asked, only to be interrupted by, "Looking for this?"
Sabriye lifted an object in her left hand - it was the marble! Everyone else's jaws dropped at the sight. "How did you have it the whole time?!" Gopal shouted out his question. Sabriye chuckled and responded, "It's called a hustle, sweetheart." (A/N: 😂 Zootopia reference.)
Gopal blushed a bit at the supposed pet name. "By the way, when I said 'sweetheart', I didn't mean it. It just comes with the phrase," Sabriye added quickly to avoid the possible misunderstanding from Gopal, receiving a nod from him, which meant that he understood.
Just then, Admiral Tarung burst into a hearty laughter, earning surprised looks. "That trick of yours is genius. That ability to trick people is exactly what a member of TAPOPS needs. Well done, Sabriye! You get 100 points!" Admiral Tarung announced, adding the points to her scoreboard.
"Here is your overall percentage," Commander Kokoci smiled. Once she saw her percentage, everyone else were shocked, including Sabriye, although, given how many points she had, she should've expected it. "I got 95%?! Awesome!" Sabriye remarked, using Boboiboy's catchphrase.
"Using my catchphrase, I see," Boboiboy noticed. "Yeah, I honestly like it. Every fan back home does," Sabriye complimented. She then heard some growling. "You got higher than us?!" Yaya and Ying asked, out of jealousy. 'Oh, right. Forgot about the whole 'first place' thing,' Sabriye remembered.
She tried to calm the rivals down but to no avail. Just then, Commander Kokoci informed, "Sabriye, I'm sure you know that these tests are to qualify you for the Toughness Test. You'll be having it tomorrow, at 7.30 in the morning." Sabriye nodded in understanding.
"Now, I believe you need to explain how you had the marble with you the whole time," Admiral Tarung, with a smile, mentioned. All eyes were on her then. Sabriye smirked and adjusted her glasses. "Remember that pouch at the side of the table?" Sabriye attempted to refresh their memory, which it did, earning nods from everyone else. She then explained further.
"When I saw it, at first, I didn't know what it was for. But~, when Fang was shuffling the second time, I was watching the cup that had the marble closely and that was when I realised what the pouch was for. When Fang was shuffling the third time, I noticed the cup with the marble was so close to the pouch when it was at the edge. When the marble fell, I caught it with my shoe, threw it up to my hand and hid it when no one was looking."
When Sabriye finished her explanation, everyone else looked at her in awe. Heck, was she sneaky! "What about the other tricks you did in our battle yesterday? You didn't explain those yet," Boboiboy mentioned.
Instead of answering his question, she suggested that they should head to the storage room first as there were things that she needed to use in order to explain properly. Everyone else complied and headed to the storage room with her, with one thought in her head and the tiniest of smirks.
'They shall see how sneaky I can be. Just you wait, Boboiboy, Fang and Gopal, till you find out what I did for the pranks this morning.'
