Third person POV-
Meliodas felt a incredible sense of regret after Elizabeth had sped out of his office, he felt like he should've put his foot down and refused to tell her the truth, after all that's what he had decided to do right from the beginning.
So why didn't he?
He wish he had the answer, and he also wished he had a time machine, but unfortunately, he had neither.Currently Meliodas was flipping through the pages of his sketchbook.
Pages filled with sketches of the goddess Elizabeth, but also many pages of Elizabeth Liones.
On his face was plastered a facial expression that can only be described as depressive.'If I hadn't told her the truth it would've probably resulted in a big conflict that would've lasted quite a while, but it would've cleared up eventually...but this...it'll last our entire lives' he thought, and with that he smashed his head against the table.
'I'm such an idiot...'"That you are" a all too familiar voice said from the door opening.
"Don't read my thoughts without permission Gowther..." Meliodas ordered his friend, without ever lifting his head up from the table.
"But you've always been an idiot...and on the bright side you're quite a lovable idiot" Gowther said, ignoring Meliodas's words.
"She's confused right now...but she'll come around...in the meantime there's something else you should be doing. Right?""Yeah..I should...I should be contacting the different races..."
"Bingo"
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Meliodas didn't spare a second, after all the preparations were already ready, he just needed to get off his ass.
Which is why he was currently standing in the opening of the fairy king's forest. It wasn't like he remembered it, mostly because of the different location, but the moment he stepped inside he felt at home.
The fairy king's forest...300 it was his home...his and Elizabeth's home..."Meliodas?"
Melidoas whipped his head around and found himself face to face with a all too familiar fairy.
He could hardly believe it."Gerheade? Is that...you?" Meliodas asked.
He had thought she died that day long ago...the day everything went wrong..."Yes...it's me. It's been a long time since I've seen you. Where did you disappear to back then?" She asked. She sounded hurt.
Meliodas and Gloxinia had been incredibly close, so it only made sense for Meliodas to be friends with his little sister, Gerheade, too."I...I..I went back to the demon realm...I thought that...every, including you..were dead"
"Well...it was certainly close, I would be dead had Rou not stopped his assault simply to protect me"
Melidoas knee that Rou along with his comrades had been the ones to attack, and completely ruin stigma, but he didn't know that Rou had stopped the assault.
"I'm sorry...at your friend, and ally I should've been there"
Gerheade let out a humorless chuckle.
"I believe you and Elizabeth was fighting for your lives at that time..did you not?...about that...I think it's fitting for me to give my condolences""...but you know don't you? About Elizabeth Liones?"
"I always had my suspicions about her...but I never had the gut to pursue it"
Seeing his old friend Meliodas had nearly forgotten why he was there in the first place, but now that the conversation had moved to be about Elizabeth he remembered that he needed to get a hold of the fairy king.
