Meliodas's POV-

I felt a little better than I had when I left the demon realm when I stepped through the castle gates.
"Welcome home brother" i was quickly greeted by Zeldris, who always made it his personal mission to welcome me home.

"Hey Zel...Sorry if i took a little lobbed than expected. I needed to clear my head"

"So I've head..." Zel answered, and it was then that I noticed the unimpressed look upon his face.
Well if that isn't a bad omen I don't know what is.

"Okay...what'd I do wrong this time?

"Oh you did nothing wrong...I fired I'm just...what's the words I'm looking for?...oh right! Hella annoyed"

"Annoyed at...me?"

"Ding ding ding! You win a prize, and that prize is waiting in your "storage""
I froze at his words. I had nearly even forgotten about that room. But maybe if was just because Elizabeth was here now.
I narrowed my eyes at zel and walked past him already heading for said "storage". I had a feeling I knew what he meant about that "prize". And sure enough when I made it to the room the door had come off it hinges. I sighed, annoyed that axel wound go to such lengths.
Then when I stepped through I saw her...
There Elizabeth, laying on the bed, uncovered surrounded by various things I had kept as a reminder of the past.

Despite the fact that daylight never shines in the demon realm it was morning. So I decide that I should probably wake her up, then we could also have a talk about why she was in there...but most importantly, she probably had some questions for me, and his it was only fair that I should answer them.
I sat down next up her on the bed and leaned down to, first brush some stray locks out of her face, and then kiss Jeg cheek, and afterwards I nuzzled myself into her soft silver her.
"Wakey wakey sleeping beauty..." I hummed.
She let out a unamused him, but I guessed that it was simply because she was tired and not because she didn't want me to be there.
"Elizabethhhhh" I sung.
"It's time to get uppppp"

Finally Elizabeth started to squirm indicating that she was at learn awake now, she squared until she was on her back. I still held my face close to her.
"What if I don't wanna get up?" She teased.

"I guess I'll have to force you then" I sayd mischievously and moved my face closer to hers.
I could see in her eyes what she was expecting me to do, but I like the element of surprise.

"Ahhh! No-I- I-" Elizabeth tried to speak but of course she had an incredibly hard time as I had declared tickle war.
I remembered her sensitive spots from the last time I did this.
That was when we were in liones, in her room...
"I- ahaha- no plea- I-haaaha- I'm up! I'm u-ahhh!" She squealed as she somehow got herself to sit upright.
I was so happy...so happy that we could still have moments like these, so happy that she could still smile at me the way she did right now...
"Meanie" she pouted, but her smile somehow still shrined through.

"Elizabeth what are you doing in here?" I cut right to the chase. "This bed is so dusty..." I sayd and I swiped my hand across the comforter, collecting a bunch of dust on my hand.

"I'm sorry...I asked Zeldris some questions and he brought me here..I felt bad that I didn't get to show you that I still loved you" she said and leaned forward and embraced me.
"I love you Meliodas...maybe even...even more so now..."

"Elizabeth..." I whispers, shocked, but still so incredibly happy by hearing her say that.
I wrapped my arms around her and buried my face in the crook of her neck.
"I love you...I love you so much that these Simone words could never be enough to describe my feelings towards you"

"Yeah..I know"

We sat there wrapped in each other's embrace for what felt like hours. Incredible hours. Of course it probably wasn't more than a couple of minutes.
"Meliodas, i love you, and that's why I need to know all this that I'm about to ask you" Elizabeth suddenly said and retracted just a little bit, still, our faces were so close to each other that our noses were touching, and so o couldn't help but quickly peck her lips before giving her a "go ahead"
