Henry's P.O.V.

When I saw him walk away, I just understood that I was the one in the glasshouse, and I threw a stone at him. Now I had only one choice: to tag Jake along. I knew that Brandon doesn't give empty threats. I realized my heart ached for him; I still loved him, while he moved on. However, I had to make it seem otherwise.

"Hey, wanna go out on a date sometime?" Jake asked me. "Actually... I don't like to rush things, but okay. Where do you wanna go?" I said. "I don't exactly know this place quite well; you decide," he said, smiling. "Bowling?" I asked. "Okay, but where is it?" he asked. "I'll come to pick you up," I told him and we got into our respective cars and drove off.

'I am fake dating an innocent cinnamon roll,' I thought, as I made my way towards my house.

At 6 pm, I picked Jake from his house. We went to the Bowling Alley, only to find it closed. I suggested the park. We were sitting on a park bench when Brandon's memories hit me like a truck. I never cried nicely yesterday, so my vision went blurry. I looked the other way, but very soon I started to sniff, loudly.

"What happened?" Jake asked, in his heavy English accent. I broke down and told him everything. Like every single thing; I talked for a long time. Then Jake began to laugh. "You are laughing at my situation?" I asked in distaste. "You seriously don't find it weird?" he asked. I looked at him. "Like, I ran away from my house, I found a boyfriend, I met my sister again, I was being emotionally tortured by my adoptive parents, then my boyfriend started to hate me but he faked love, so I am right here to avenge myself by dating his crush," he explained. When he put it that way, it really did seem hopelessly stupid. I smiled.

"So, what are you going to do next?" he asked me. "Do I look like I have an idea?" I asked. "No, but I can help you make one. If you still want Brandon," he said standing up, "Let's beat him in his own game."

The idea was horrific, literally. "If we managed to pull it off, you'll have Brandon back," Jake told me. "We will pull it off," I said.

"So now we are partners in crime?" Jake asked.

I nodded and smiled.

"You know, you are hot if you ask me. So, I think one small, little kiss won't hurt, would it?" he asked me.

I gave in. Damn, it was one good kiss.

"I have been wanting to do that the whole evening," Jake said, so red that he resembled a tomato.

I too was red due to exhaustion, but I have had better, oh sorry, worse after-kissing panic attacks.

I knew I didn't have to fall for him, but what Brandon liked was always perfect.

"Tomorrow, we set our plan in motion," Jake said walking out of my room.

I wish I had stopped everything then and there.

A/N: So sorry for the cliffhanger. Not really, actually.
