Death by a father

Ben

   What is happening? My head is pounding and I can't sit up. I try to open my eyes, but all I see is darkness. It grips me with it's cold dead fingers. It is probably a joke. Sere loves playing jokes on me. I have to try going backwards and up the wall, or the ceiling, or the ground. Who knows! I may be standing on the ground or on the wall. I could even be on the ceiling.

   Sere insists on always walking on the ground. She wants to prove that there is a place where it is impossible to walk on walls and ceilings. Sere wants to go live there. I have tried telling her that The Grang would never allow it, but she doesn't want to listen. I try telling her that myths aren't real, but she says, "You said that zombies were myths, but yet they are real." She has a point when she says that.

   How do I get out? I pushed on the door but it wouldn't budge. I took a small break and tried again, this time, it swung open easily. I thought I was some kind of super hero with super human strength until I saw Sere.

   "Why did you lock yourself in there? Wesley and Ingro were worried sick."

   "What about Vanessa and Paul?"

   "Nope! It's kinda sad. I mean, he is your best friend and she is your girlfriend." Sere laughed like it was some kind of big joke.

   "Well, if you didn't put me here and Wesley and Ingro had no idea where I was, than how did I get there?"

   "Like I said, you locked yourself in there."

   "It had to be Vanessa and Paul! They weren't worried about where I was!"

   "Great theory, but Vanessa was in her dorm all night and she left early this morning to go to the gym and go shopping."

   "Why did she leave so early?"

   "The Grang would not be okay with her leaving. He would punish her badly. While if Savannah left, you know he would probably find away to give her a bigger dorm room."

   "There is no way Savannah could get a bigger dorm room!"

   "Yes there is!"

   "Fine. I am going to go get breakfast at the dinning hall. And find my friends. I don't need to be seen with my sister."

   "Fine!" She turned and walked away. Ben knew he should race after and say sorry, but he didn't like telling people that he had a little sister and he also didn't like getting in trouble for running in the building, so Ben watched Sere walk away. 

   When he couldn't see Sere anymore, he found himself frozen in place, he had been standing in place, watching her go. Someone walked in, well they didn't exactly walk in. They risked running in and Ben couldn't tell who they were until they surrounded him in a hug.

   They had short blonde hair. It was a boy. It was Ben's friend, his best friend. "I was so worried when I woke up and you weren't in your bed!" He exclaimed.

   "I have no idea how I got there."

   "Now is probably the best time to tell you that you sleep walk."

   "What?!"

   "Yeah."

   "You are joking, right?"

   "Nope. Are you not hungry? I am super hungry."

   "We don't want The Grang to find us outside of the dinning hall. We will be in so much hungry."

   "What?"

   "Sorry, I meant trouble, not hungry. I guess I am also really hungry."

   "Oh. By the way, I brought someone with me."

   "Vanessa?"

  "Nope. I brought Savannah! Come on in!" A girl wearing a bright pink dress, bright pink leggings, bright pink shoes, and she had her makeup done, it was pink. She had pink bows in her hair. Ben had no idea why Paul liked Savannah. Savannah was that girl who almost nobody liked. She craved attention and called people names.

   "I think we need to go get food." Savannah was so needy and bossy. Ben thought that if Paul told him that him and Savannah were dating, Ben would have to tell Paul that they could no longer be friends.
