It was a lazy morning for me, driving to school with my Blue Jeep Renegade. I've got six cars at home but whenever I'm going to school, I pick this car. Because I wanted a low profile so nobody would notice me.

I parked my car in my usual spot. I saw Chloe in her car, a pink Audi convertible. She parked two cars from me. I wanted to talk to her about the tutoring thing. I didn't know why I should be the one who approached first. I wasn't the one who needed help. This girl has a lot of attitude even though she was pretty.

I walked toward her car since there were few students around us and they didn't care. I waved at her and smiled, "Hey Chloe". She looked at me like she didn't know me. "I'm Nate, one of your classmates in Algebra."

She rolled her eyes, "Whatever. Why are you talking to me? You're such a loser."

I wanted to walk away but I needed to talk to this stupid girl. "Look, you remember Mr. Brown asked me to help you in Algebra?" I hoped she remembered I wanted to end our conversation. I didn't want to look like an idiot.

She sighed, "Oh I remember, I guess you need to tutor me. I don't want somebody to take my position as a cheerleader captain. I don't have any other choice, I need to pass Algebra. I already asked Mr. Brown picked another one yesterday but he told me that you are the only one who can help me."

I felt like I was insulted. I closed my eyes for three seconds to focus on what to tell her and ignore what she said to me. "Sorry to hear that. When do you want to start?" I was biting my lower lip to control myself.

"I have a date today with my boyfriend so not today. Maybe we can start tomorrow."

"Tomorrow is Friday, are you sure you wanted that day? As far as I know you all love Friday night."

"Oh yeah I forgot about that. Let's start on Saturday." , she said.

This girl really doesn't care about her study at all. She didn't know how knowledge was important to us and I thought she didn't care about her college. I said to her, "Sure. Where is the good place to tutor you? Please you decide since I don't know where the best place is". I lied, if I suggest a place I'm sure that she will disagree.

"Somewhere where anybody couldn't see us. I don't want anybody to see us that we're together. I don't want to confuse them that we're friends, disgusting. You mustn't tell anybody about this damn shit."

"No problem. Nobody will not know about this. So where do you want?" I asked.

"It's better in my place since my boyfriend is banned from our house. But I want you to park your car three blocks before my house."

She was getting on my nerves, I needed to control my emotions. I was offering my help to her and she was so mean to me. I said calmly, "You want me to walk three blocks before your house?"

"Yes. I'm impressed you got it."

I sighed, "Alright. How about your address? I don't know where you live."

"Give me your number and I'll text you later or tomorrow." She handed me her mobile phone and I input my number then I gave it to her. I saw that she named me on her phone, nerd. "Please note, whenever we're in school you never ever talk to me. It's a little weird you talking to me right now. Just wait for my text and you must walk away from me now. Before someone will notice us that we're talking to each other."

I nodded with a sarcastic smile then I started to walk away from her. Her attitude was so outlevel, maybe this girl has a lot of problems. My first subject was about to start. I need to focus on it. I just need to forget all the insulting words she said to me.

Another day passed and my last subject was done. I was walking in the corridor and Mr. Brown called my name. "Nate!"

I looked at him, "Hey Mr. Brown."

"Did you talk to Chloe? Is everything alright?", he asked.

"Yeah I will start to tutor her on Saturday."

"Good to hear. You know teaching others is also helping you. It can develop your thinking like practicing your mind."

"I know Mr. Brown." I smiled.

He patted my shoulder and smiled, "I know you can do it. See you tomorrow." I nodded.

Before I went to sleep I looked at my book in Algebra and thought about what is the first lesson I will teach to her. If I base on her damn attitude maybe I start to teach her basic. I need to use a simple word because I know she will not easily understand all of it if I use some difficult terms to her. If she feels insulted it means all my thinking was wrong she was not an idiot then I will apologize to her. Easy peasy, goodluck to me.
