"Freddy my boy!" James Potter barrelled into his grandparents' home and was immediately tackled into a hug by Fred Weasley II. James and Fred we're inseparable along with Roxanne and Louis, who sat watching the two from their spot on t sofa, "what are we chopped liver?" Louis asked them making them both laugh.

"Lou-y, Roxy!" James threw himself over the back of the sofa to tackle the two in a hug, landing on them both.

Harry and Ginny both rolled their eyes ignoring their sons idiotic behaviour and heading straight to the kitchen to meet the other adults, leaving Albus, Lily, Quinn and Teddy to stand watching their cousins and/or brother interact.

"You guys are here!" A voice yelled as Molly, Lucy, Dominique and Victoria came down the steps followed by Rose and Hugo.

Molly and Lucy pulled Quinn to themselves and hugged her before Dom and Vic joined them. Quinn laughing, "we saw each other four days ago." She a was surprised by the sudden hug.

"We missed you." Vic whined. "Yeah how come Teddy gets you all to himself?" Molly pouted.

"Oh it's been awful, their constantly snogging each others faces off." Albus told them all. "No we aren't." Quinn snapped at him making him raise his hands in mock defeat.

"Stop being idiots." Snapped Lily, pointing at her two brothers. Teddy pulled Quinn back to his side and groaned into her hair. This made her laugh.

"Well we're all sleeping down here tonight. Welcome to Christmas Eve in the mad house." Vic told them both making Quinn groan, "they expect us all to sleep in the same house as James, let alone the room." The others all laughed at this as she sat down on the floor and was soon followed by Vic and the other girls, then Teddy, Rose, Albus, Hugo and Lily.

"Want a game of exploding snap?" Vic asked. Everyone laughed forming a big circle as they waited for dinner and the arrival of Quinn's dad.

Soon the large grandfather clock in the hallway chimed 12:00 and the adults began moving platters of food outside to a large dinning table that was set up by Bill and Percy.

Quinn and Teddy got up to help them but just as they reached the kitchen the home's front door opened and a familiar voice echoed from the hall. "Merry Christmas!"

"Dad!" Quinn ran around the corner and tackled her dad into a hug making the man stumble as he caught her. "Hello to you too." He laughed hugging her back. "I missed you." She smiled into his chest as he rubbed her back.

"Me too Q." They pulled away and Charlie smiled at her, "well here you go, those are for you and your cousins, go put them under the tree." He handed her a heavy bundle of gifts. She grinned kissing him on the cheek and giving him a final hug before he moved to go greet the other adults.

"Yah! Uncle Charlie's here!" Yelled Fred as he and Louis rounded the corner of the living room. This caught the other adults attentions. Ginny being the first to run at her second eldest brother, before George and Bill tackled him into bear hugs and brotherly headlocks. Finally Percy and Ron gave him a quick man hug before their wives along with Angelina, Fluer and Harry gave him one too.

Andromeda was the last to greet him after he had hugged his parents and handed Teddy another bag of gifts for the adults to help Quinn put away.

"Charlie!" George has yelled making his brother laugh, "yes George?"
"It's good to have you back buddy."
"Thanks man. You guys setting up lunch?"

"Yes sweetie, you can help Harry with the plates if you want." Molly Weasley Sr told her second eldest son who nodded as he shrugged off his coat.

Charlie follows the other adults back into the kitchen receiving a few "it's good to see you,"'s as he entered.
"So Charlie how are things in...where is it?"
"I was in Siberia last week." He answered Harry. "Yeah how's that?"

"All good, couple near misses, disasters with nearing villages but other then that it's been quiet. Not many dragons at the last place, only a few."
"Did you manage to speak to your boss about Quinn and Teddy next year?" Harry asked as he knew the two 17 year olds had taken an interest in Magizoology.

"Yeah once they get back next September we'll be putting them on the training course for the first half of the year then field position in maybe Norway."
"Sounds good." Harry nodded, "has Quinn told you about her and Teddy yet?" Asked the Boy Who Lived.

"What about her and Teddy?"
"I'll take that as a no." Harry turned red, realising he had accidentally told Quinn's dad.

Charlie was never too overprotective, just Quinn being an only child meant she was the only person he felt needed protecting so he could be slightly protective when it came to boys.

"They're fine, honestly I think this was long overdue." Harry told the other man, "i know I just, I'll be having words." Charlie assured Harry.

"Well just go easy on them."
"Go easy on who?" Asked the voice of Charlie's mother, "Quinn and Teddy." Harry told her, "oh honestly Charlie, leave them be. We're not having a replay of Harry and Ginny." Snapped the older woman as she eyed up her son and son in law.

"Sorry mum."
"They're young and in love, let them be. No need to threaten Teddy, he's family."
"Yes mum." Even at the old age of 45 (well what Quinn called old age), Charlie was still terrified of his mother's wrath.

Later that day, the children had moved outside to play a small quittich game with two teams. Quinn, Louis, Fred, Roxanne, James, Albus, Molly, Hugo and Lily took it in turns being in goal and taking shots as there wasn't enough of them to start a proper game. While Vic and Teddy pretended to commentate and Lucy and Rose chose to read under the old oak tree.

"Can we please go inside soon it's bloody freezing out here!" Yelled Teddy at the other kids as they flow around in the frosty air.

"Maybe if you grew a pair and got on a broom you wouldn't be so cold!" Yelled James making the others laugh.

Meanwhile inside, Charlie was busy telling the other adults a rather delicate piece of information.

"So you're seeing this woman?" Bill has asked looking at his younger brother curiously. "Yes." The younger man answered, "I'm really sorry Andie." Charlie felt awful for moving on and having found a new woman in his life after Eva.

The guilt had been eating him alive as he dreaded telling Andie who had seen his late wife as a daughter. Eva has ran away from home after her parents, two muggles, had been truly awful to her for being a witch.

"It's ok Charlie dear, Evie would have wanted you to be happy. I'm sure Quinn will think the same."
"It's ok to move on Charlie." Ginny assured her brother, holding his arm supportively.

"I just don't want Quinn to think I've forgotten about her mum....I mean...I miss Eva everyday....but Morgan, she makes me so happy." Charlie slowly looked around the room at all of his family.

"Well how long have you and Morgan known one another?" George asked. "Three years, but we only began seeing one another in February last year."

"Well we'd love to meet her." Molly had a smile on her face, happy to know her son hand found some one to make him happy after he lost his wife so young.

"Well in for one am buzzing for you mate, you deserve happiness.....now I say we get the kids inside and play some games, mum need a hand with the snacks." George as always was the one to lighten the mood as he stud up from the table and slapped his hands on his brown trousers.

"Yes please dear, Hermione would you call the children in please." The mistress for magic nodded to her mother-in-law and headed towards the door.

The other adults busied themselves organising chairs and pillows, as Angelina and George followed Molly into the kitchen with Charlie in tow.
