"You three are insane." Quinn laughed, leaning over in her seat as the hundredth laugh of the hour rippled through her body.

"N...no we genuinely had no idea there was gonna be a blast-ended-skrwet in there." Teddy was beside himself laughing as he recounted the story of back in their third year when he, Adam and Dan opened a crate labelled 'dangerous do not open' inside Professor Hagrid's hut during Care for Magical Creatures class.

"Well then you're just plain stupid or you all have a death wish."
"You have to admit we're brave though." He sent her a wink. "No just stupid." She smiled back sarcastically.

The two grinned at each other over their second butterbeers their faces glowing slightly red still from their walk in he cold autumn air.

Teddy released another chuckle looking at Quinn's face. "What?" She asked,
"You have a butterbeer moustache." He laughed.

She flushed in embarrassment reaching up to wipe her face. "Gone?" She looked rough him for confirmation. "You've still got a bit....here." He reaches over brushing a stray hair from her face and swiping the foam from her left lip corner.

"T...thanks." She giggled gazing into his eyes, before he leaned forward and gave her a chaste kiss on the lips.

They grinned at one another, returning to their unfinished drinks.

It being early November now, the frost had began to settle in. Scarfs and gloves were now a necessity of any adventurous Hogwarts students who dared to venture to Hogsmead.

The couple now sat inside the HogsHead a small tavern on the edge of the village. The warm fire and Butterbeer heated their cold hands and enticed them to sit for hours just talking about random subjects.

"Wanna head back towards school?" Teddy asked Quinn.
"Sure I fancy a cuddle in the common room." She joked before she finished the last drop of her warm drink and waited for Teddy to down the rest of him own before they pulled back in their hats and grasped each other's hands prepared to brace the cold again.

-.-.-.-.

About twenty minutes later the two mounted the stairs back into their common room after Teddy's frozen fingers fumbled with the key and the lock for a good five minutes.

Upon reaching the room Quinn used her wand to light the fire place and removed her coat, hat, gloves and scarf. Then she ran her fingers through her hair to rid it of snow.

By now it was early evening, around five o'clock. The game had ended at around one in the afternoon and they had reached Hogsmead by half two which meant they had been out for two and a half hours.

The day had left Quinn exhausted and ready for bed as she peered out of the window, looking over the snowy castle grounds which glowed in pink and orange hues as the sun began it's early descent behind the Scottish mountains.

This left the blanket of snow on the hill leading down to the lake, to bask in an amber glow as the lake itself reflected speckles of the dying sun.

Quinn was so distracted gazing out of the window that she never noticed Teddy approaching her from behind until she felt his arms wrap securely around her waist from behind. He placed his chin on her shoulder, both of their slightly damp hair sticking to their faces.

"Wanna get that cuddle in now or head down for dinner early?" Teddy whispered in her ear, with an airy tone that sent shivers down her spine, reminding her of the joke she had made back in the tavern.

"I'm sure we can spare twenty minutes for a cuddle, the others did say they would meet us up here for half five." Quinn told him.

He released a laugh, spinning her around to face him and pulling her with him as he walked backwards towards the nearest armchair to the fire.
