Their dreams about you

Thomas:

I heard a scream in the night and recognize that it's Thomas. I have such a HUGE crush on him!!!! Ever since I came up in the box, I just really liked him. I get out of bed and follow the screams, eventually finding Thomas in his cot, drenched in sweat. Kneeling next to him, I put a hand on his shoulder and gently shake him awake. He jolts up and looks around in panic until he finds it's just me. He lays back down with a heavy sigh and grabs my hand, making butterflies form in my stomach.

"Are you alright Tom?" He looks over and smiles at me, squeezing my hand tighter. I stand up and sit next to him on his cot, looking down at him.

"Yea Y/N. Just a bad dream." He says in between heavy breaths.

"Do you...umm....want to talk about it?" Why am I so awkward?! He smiles and nods. Then he moved over and motioned for me to lay next to him. My face turned red as I slowly lay down and out my head on his shoulder. He takes in a deep breath before starting.

"It's a little embarrassing actually." He pauses before continuing. "You were a runner, and I was a runner. We...um....we were running a section of the maze together and we noticed it started to get dark out, so we started heading back to the glade." He takes in a deep breath, as do I. It was weird to think that he was dreaming about me, but I don't interrupt him.

"We got to the doors to find that they were shut. Then a griever came." His hand started shaking as he put it around my shoulder and pulled me in closer. "It got you Y/N, I lost you." He started crying as he sat up and I start to scream of excitement....well, on the inside of course. I wasn't sure if his dream meant he liked me, or that he just hated grievers. I sit up next to him and put my arm around his shoulder.

"It's ok. It was just a dream." I say, putting my head on his shoulder. "I'm not going anywhere." He gradually stops crying and looks me in the eyes.

"Good, because I don't want you to. I love you." My face turns red again and I can't help but put a huge smile on my face!

"I love you too." He smiles and we just lay there for the night. Me and Thomas. 😘

Newt:

I just came back from running the maze and I was tired as Klunk! I fall to my knees in exhaustion as I feel a hand touch my arm. It has to be Minho because he was right behind me the whole time.

"Think you can keep up?" Minho says with a laugh as he runs to the map room. I just roll my eyes and slowly walk towards Minho. I don't have to remember much because we didn't find anything new, so I can take my time. I see all the Gladers doing their job as I drag my feet towards the map room. Just before I enter the woods, an icy hand grabs my arm and I hear a British voice.

"Y/N can I talk to you for a minute?" Newt says scrunching up his eyebrows. I nod and he pulls me over to the deadheads where we sit on a bench. It felt good to rest my legs.

"Look, I wanted to talk to you about a dream I had last night." He says grabbing my hand.

"Ok." I respond back moving in a bit closer. He seems nervous.

"It was about you, love." He says hesitantly. "We were....um....well....I sort of....We were together." That nearly knocks all the wind out of me. I take a deep breath in and Newt seems to be waiting for a response.

"Ok. Is that it?" I say softly. I don't quite know how to handle this situation.

"No. Gally liked you too. You sort of, umm, dumped me for him. I just....I don't want that to ever happen. I really like you Y/N and I don't ever want you to leave me." I have known Newt for a long time and never knew he had feelings for me. The truth is, I always liked him too.

"Well, it won't," I start, "because I really like you too." This makes him smile. He grabs my face in his hands and pulls me in for a kiss. I smile into the kiss and pull him closer. Let's be honest, Newt is bae. 🇬🇧
