"Hey there beautiful!" Thomas says as he wraps his arms around my waist from behind and kisses my neck. A smile spreads across my face. I turn and plant a kiss on his lips.
"Hey Tom!" He smiles and kisses my forehead.
"You got a minute?" I nod as he grabs my hands and leads me to the dead heads. Our pace quickly turns into a run and he looks back every so often and smiles. He seems really excited!
We slam to a halt, he turns and puts both hands on my shoulders.
"Close your eyes!" He says, rubbing his hand over my eyelids. I let out a small laugh and he guides me across the glade.
"Ok, look!" I open my eyes and find a blanket on the ground with plates of food delicately laid on top. I smile as Thomas motions for me to sit next to him and eat Frypan's delicious food.
"What's the occasion?" I ask after finishing the last bite.
"Does there have to be one?" He smiles and kisses my forehead. "I just love you Jade....a lot! You're beautiful and talented and funny and nice and....well.....perfect!" We both smile as I pull him in for a long kiss before we lay there and watch the stars together.
