Aditya's pov
"Son, are you still awake?" Dad entered my room. I frantically closed my file and shut down the laptop.
"Yeah dad, I couldn't sleep." I walked to him placing my hands in my pockets, casually.
"Oh,"
"Do you need something, dad?" I asked.
"No, I was just heading to the kitchen then I saw your room's light still on, so I thought to check on you." He replied.
"Anyway, I also wanted to tell you something..."
"What?" I asked.
"I have seen a girl for you! She's one of my good friend's daughter." He said tabbing my shoulder, cheerfully.
"No way, Dad!" I removed his hand.
"Yes way, beta Ji! Don't worry you just have to come and see the girl and decided if you like the girl or not!" He said.
"Is it necessary?!" I frowned.
"Very! Now, turn off the lights and go to sleep! I will see you in the morning!" He replied.
"Good night, son!" He closed the door behind him.
I slammed my head on the pillow and tried to not think about tomorrow.
"So, Raizada Ji, what does your son do for a living?"
"He was a detective but now a bodyguard at the Royal Haveli!" My dad said proudly looking at me.
"Oh! Nice nice!—here comes my daughter Raina!" I didn't look at her when she sat right across me.
'God! Why me?!' I slowly lifted my head to see her.
When I looked at her, she slyly winked at me and in shock, I jumped in my seat. I immediately looked at my dad, who was smiling while eating samosa.
"Mr. Rai, if you don't mind. Children can get to know each other?" My dad interjected.
'No dad!' I glanced at my dad with a disagreed look.
"Of course of course! Raina, go dear." Mr. Rai told his daughter.
She led me to the garden and while continuously staring at me. In my whole life, I never felt so nervous and weirdly awkward.
"Is there anything you'd like to ask?" She said coming close to me, to which I took a few steps back.
"N-no?"
"Okay, But I have a question! Do you have any girlfriend?!" She asked.
"No"
"Good! Because after marriage I don't want any drama!" She said with a smile.
'After marriage?! No way, I am marrying her!' I thought to myself.
"I think Ms. Raina you have mistaken me, what I meant to say...that I don't like you!" I walked hurriedly out from thereafter saying that.
To my surprise she started to follow me, so I started to walk faster then suddenly I bumped into someone and we both fell in the pool.
"Aah! Help! I can't swim!" A familiar voice yelled, I immediately looked at her and she was none other than, Siya.
"Siya! I am sorry I wasn't looking..." I held her from her waist and brought her to the surface.
"Look I am sorry.." I trailed off, when I noticed how close she was to me, her warm breath was fanning my neck and her exotic fragrance was blinding my senses, intoxicating me. She was saying something but I couldn't focus on that instead my eyes were exploring her soft facial features and her strikingly beautiful eyes.
