Aditya's pov
Two weeks later I made arrangements to move my family from Uttarakhand to Delhi due to their safety reasons. Dad was very adamant not leave our generations-old house but Siya convinced him by saying that it's temporary. And without arguing furthermore he agreed. I was a little surprised because he never agrees with me that easily...
Siya took the responsibility for dad and her safety, while I was busy searching for him.
"Adi! Where are you?!" She yelled across the kitchen, stomping her way to the living room.
"Siya, why are you yelling?! For god's sake, it's 7 am in the morning!" I said.
"Because you weren't listening! Anyway, I got you this shirt for you!" She yelled again.
I lifted my head up, looking at her and then facepalmed myself.
"Why are you speaking while wearing headphones!" I unplugged her ears.
"Oh..sorry?" She said looking embarrassed. "Anyway, I got you this! And you are going to wear this.." She handed me a bag.
"Yellow shirt?!" I said uninterestingly.
'I don't like yellow colour!'
"I know you don't like this colour...but I think you'll look great!" She said like she was almost reading my mind.
'Great? I will look like a lemon in it!'
"S-Siya..my love..my wifey...my adorable cupcake...I love you..but I can't wear this..a-at least not today...I have an important meeting with Commissioner...please understand..okay now I will go and get ready."
"Dad—what do you think about this?! Adi said he didn't like it!" I looked terrified at my wife and then my dad.
'Shit!'
"I knew my son was a dumb kid! But I didn't know this dumb! Do as she said or I w—
"—I got it!" I took the shirt from her hands and headed upstairs in my room.
"Adi...the breakfast is ready—
"I am sorry, Siya. I have to go early, I will have something on my way..." I wore my watch hurriedly and collected the file from the desk.
She ran behind me and held my wrist, stopping me in my way. "Wait! I have packed your food...eat it once you are done.." she handed me a lunch box.
"Thank you." I smiled kissing her cheek before leaving.
"Raghav—I have the file and—and why are you laughing?" I asked in a stern voice.
"I-i am not..anyway what were you saying?" He pressed a hand his mouth like he trying to press a chuckle.
"You are not paying attention! Focus!" I said.
"Yes Sir!"
"Mr Raizada—oh god! Looks like today the sun came out from the wrong direction!"
"Good morning, Sir." I greeted him ignoring his comment.
"Good morning, Aditya! I must say nice shirt!" He commented before heading inside the meeting room.
'Siya!' I growled.
Siya's pov
"Papa, lunch is ready, I made your favourite Rajma chawal and some raita," I said.
"Thank you, dear. Is Adi joining us for lunch?" He asks taking a seat, while I served him food on his plate.
"I don't—
