Aditya's pov
After the dinner, we both walked to the car—Our home from the restaurant was only 1 hr drive....
The night sky was now gradually covering itself with dark clouds instead of bright stars...
While I was driving, Siya slowly turned on the radio and a romantic song started to play in the background. An automatic warm smile formed on my lips when she softly started humming with the song, quickly glancing at her I caught her smiling at me intently.
"I hope you liked today's dinner..." I said with soft smile.
"I loved it!...thank you Adi. I enjoyed it immensely!" She replied.
Gradually, the rain started drumming on the car and instantly it became a little stormy. My heart raced anxiously in some unknown fear but as soon as my eyes landed on her my all worries were vanished, immediately.
"Adi!" The car halted abruptly.
"Are you okay, Siya?" I asked concernedly.
"Yes."
"I think there's a problem in the engine—let me check!" I hurriedly unbuckled my seatbelt.
"Wait! Let me come with you—I'll hold the umbrella for or you'll get sick." She held my arm.
"It's stormy outside—
"Please Adi let me help—you might also need help with holding flashlight while you check the engine.."
"Okay," I nodded softly.
"Alright Siya we...—Raghav?!" I exchanged the glances with Siya as I noticed Raghav's call.
"Answer it...it must be important!"
"You are right, he never calls me past 8 pm..." I replied as I accepted the call.
"Hello?—Raghav...I can't hear you..—Siya you stay here I'll go near that rock for the network.."
"Yes..is everything alright?" I asked standing on the rock by the corner of the curvy road.
"Sir! Where are you? Are you safe?!" Raghav asked worriedly.
"What's the matter, Raghav?!" I clutched the phone near my ear.
"H-he has sent his men after you and your family! And—
"—Adi!" I quickly looked behind and saw a few men surrounding her.
"Siya!—Leave her!"
"Sir! Sir!—I am coming— The phone slipped away from my grip in haste.
Siya's Pov
"No! Adi! Adi!" I struggled to free myself from the hold of two men, when they hit Adi with a rod.
"Look Adi! If you had freed our leader, then today perhaps you wouldn't be suffering...but Alas! Because of your over-smartness you and your beloved wife will be dead in just few minutes from now!" A tall man came out of the car and walked towards us. It was getting dark and on top of it the weather was worsening minute by minute.
"Who are you?!" Adi asked grittily.
"Nikhil—his son!" He walked towards him.
Cold blood ran in me when I saw him pointing gun at my Adi.
"No! Please don't kill him!" I begged as tears streamed down my cheeks, in fear.
"Ha! Siya, right?!! Let's start with you then!" He maliciously laughed and walked towards me.
