Siya's pov
1 month later...

I sipped the warm tea while Tia told me that she's getting married by the end of this month.
She handed me a golden color wedding invitation card in which Adi and my name were written in blue glitter ink. I smiled as I accepted the invitation. "Tia, I am so happy for you!" I hugged her.

"Thank you, Siya." She smiled, warmly. "By the way where's Adi?" She asked.

"He went to Delhi regarding some work...but don't worry I'll let him know about your wedding!" I replied.

"Okay. Anyway, I should get going—my next stop is at Raina's house...do you wanna come along with me?" She said.

" I can't, Adi's dad will be here from his work and I have to prepare dinner...sorry," I replied.

"No problem..and thank you for the tea.." she smiled.
"Bye." She waved.
"Bye," I replied.

While going to my room after dinner, my phone rang in my hand and I quickly answered when I saw Adi's name.
"Hi..." I said with a smile.

"Hello..how are you, Siya?"

"I am good...did you have dinner?" I asked.
"Yes! How's dad?"
"He's good and he just went to his room," I replied sitting on the bed and placing a pillow in my lap.

"When are you coming home?" I asked.

"Maybe in a couple of months.."

"Are you serious?!" I said demandingly and he laughed from the other side of the phone.

"Relax Relax...I am just kidding..." he said.

"I will be there in three days.."

"Three more days?! It's has been a whole week since you left..." I sighed.

"I miss you," he said sounding a little down.

"Adi...is everything alright?" I asked concernedly.

"Yeah yeah...I am just missing you." He said.

"I miss you too.," I replied. "Okay listen...now go to sleep you must be tired .." I said looking at the wall clock.

"Okay..good night..sleep well." He said in a drowsy voice.

"Good night.."

Aditya's pov

I lied to her about coming in three days because I was planning to surprise her on the next following morning. When I called her I was already on my way home...and now in 2 hrs, I will reach there before she wakes up...

By 4 am in the morning I reached home and without making any sound I unlocked the front door and entered silently. I lifted my luggage and tiptoed to my room... A smile formed on my lips when I saw my wife sleeping like a baby...so carefree!

I shrugged out of my jacket and placed it on the hanger and changed into something more comfortable. Carefully, I laid next to her and turned to glance at her, due to tiredness from the nightlong travel my eyelids started to feel heavy and without my realization I fell asleep..

In my sleep I started to feel like someone was yelling and screaming like a maniac.
I slowly opened my eyes and to the sight my eyes widened in shock...

"...ah I will kill you!" Siya ran towards me and holding something in her hand, which in slight darkness I couldn't see. I immediately jumped from the bed and held her hand.

"Oye mad-woman I am your husband!"

"My husband is in Delhi—and how dare you to call me madwoman!" She said struggling to loosen from my grip. I gently tighten my grip around her with my left hand and I turned on the light with my right hand.
