Mating call

The alliance

Jacob waited for Zacharius to come down to dungeon at Adams ranch. Every pack house had one. Jacob knew that he had a lot to atone for. He had betrayed his alphas trust. He needed Zacharius to understand that he wasn't himself when he made all those bad decisions. It had taken him being imprisoned by the witch Natasha for her spell that she had on him to wear off. It had been shortly after they had arrived in the foggy wood that the spell was released. Something must have happened to Natasha for her blood spell over Jacob and the rogues to have been broken. All Jacob knew was he felt immediate regret after his release. He would beg Zacharius's forgiveness and ally himself with the pack.

Zacharius, Adam, and Jackson Sr. walked down to the dungeon preparing for a verbal battle. They steeled their resolve and proceeded toward the large cell housing the rogues and Jacob. To their surprise all the rogues and Jacob kneeled with their right arms across their chests and their heads bowed. They were submitting to Jacob as their new alpha. Zacharius blinked quickly taken aback, he didn't know whether to trust this show of submission or question it. He chose to question it. " What is this?" He asked. "I submit to you Zacharius as my alpha. I realized that I as well as my pack was under Natasha's spell. It wasn't until my third day of captivity in her cursed wood that we were released. I then realized that she was controlling us. I have regretted my actions and wish to atone for my indiscretions."

Zacharius consulted with Jackson Sr. and Adam. He was still skeptical of Jacob but he knew that he would need more wolves for the upcoming battle between the witches. He also had the lunar eclipse coming up this weekend. Jackson Sr. and Adam both thought that Jacob and his pack were not to be trusted. But just as Zacharius was about to denounce Jacob's plea the Moon Godess spoke to him. "You need this alliance Zacharius. Jacob's pack will prove worthy in the upcoming weeks. And Aaron will be loyal to Tristan. This alliance will tip the scales in your favor."

Zacharius could not argue with the Moon Godess. He conceded that Jacob and his pack would ally themselves with he and Adam. Adam and Jackson Sr. were all flustered by this decision but they would follow whatever direction Zacharius gave. Jacob and his pack were released from the cell and ordered to stay in houses that bordered the east edge of Adams property. They did not want Jacobs pack to spook the surrounding pack members. A meeting was held later that evening explaining Jacob and his packs attendance on pack property.

During the meeting Adam decided on an area for the turning that was to happen this weekend. He and Zacharius would later discuss which wolf would turn the girls. The girls needed to be very near death, so that when the full moon returned new life would flow into their bodies. They had three days until the eclipse, but Zacharius had a sense of impending doom.
