Maya was taking him to the land of the Goddess. He would be safe from Sasha and Natasha, but he would not be able to shift. His wolf would sleep. He transformed back into human form as he and Maya drifted upward.

As Maya drifted downward towards the woods, Cameron contemplated his loneliness. He wasn't aware until she was gone how much the blood connection had connected him to her. It was almost strange, he missed her. Even the annoying thought of sharing feelings had attached him irreparably to her. As she drifted away the ache from the ever growing distance, began to burn inside him. This couldn't be, there was no way that the connection could be so strong. She was a witch, and witches and wolves didn't mix right?

Cameron watched Maya descend into chaos. The witches attacked in droves. They used the trees and fire to attack the wolves. Jess and Tristan were a force to be reckoned with. They could transform into any beast, and they did so at the drop of a hat. But they were fiercest as wolves. They ripped into the shadows that shrouded around the witches. Cameron wished he could participate, but he couldn't even shift, he would be of no help to his pack.

As he suffered in agony, while watching his pack members die and fight, an imp sat next to him in awe of his beauty. On earth he looked like a regular guy who turned into a wolf. But in the realm eternal he glowed like an angel. It was a sight to behold. He emanated the light of life itself. He was a walking miracle. All the imp's were drawn to him. As the battle waged on a deep sadness fell over Cameron, causing his eyes to well up with tears. As the tears streamed down his cheeks, rain fell from the heavens. The ache that ran through is body brought racking sobs forth. The more he cried the more it rained. The rain took on a heavenly glow that mimicked the glow surrounding him. All the injured or dead wolves were being covered in the heavenly rain.

Maya was frustrated with Natasha. She always ran instead of facing the music. She was stronger than she was before, but not strong enough. The blood of the girl was definitely the blood of the prophecy. But she was the chosen one. She was born specifically to kill Natasha. As she concentrated on the streams of dark shadow left behind, Maya felt an overwhelming sense of loss. Cameron had connected to her far deeper than he should have. Torrential rain began to pour, and heavenly glowing light lay on the surface of everything. As the rain seeped into her clothing the light rejuvenated her spirit. And could see Natasha's trail all the more clearer.
