Aurora
The air in the woods feel nice. So fresh compared to the air by the palace. I assume I've made it by Court Makani by the blast of fresh air. I need to get out before I end up meeting some prince who wants to become king. I think back to training after my mother had told me of the Kingstrium date. Plenty of Court Chiron were there ready to heal any one of us who fell, I never fall. Court Prasine, Cyrus, Magnar, and Ciana of the high courts were there. Surprisingly low courts were there too, not that I mind. I love training against other abilities. Court Capala, speed and Primree, nature were there as well. Court Troyen, silencers, don't train with us. They train to become guards of the kingdom. Of course other courts do as well but we need silencers more than others in case of rogue royals. I believe House Raven, animal control, and Makani weren't training until later in the evening.
There was a Cyrus girl Bray's age that kept blastng fire balls at him. It seemed to be flirtatious somehow? It didn't make sense but you can tell Bray had fallen for her and her ability. Lainey and Eve were in love with every guy at training. Especially the Ciana boy. If he goes for Princestrium, I bet my parents will choose him for Eveline to make their grandchildren have a part of what she should have been. Strange enough I saw Eveline staring at the Indra girl.
Almost every court has a child around mine or Ve's age. Once they heard that the King and Queen were having twins of both genders, they all wanted to have children to possibly become a royal member.
Of course Adrien had trained with us. Showing off to my parents so he may become my king. He is one of the only boys that I would not marry, but I already assume I will have to. We shall see what Kingstrium brings us.
The wind starts to feel cold. A sudden flush of warmth comes over me, but from what? I walk closer to the source of heat when a flame starts to come into view. With the flame shows a boy, a boy sitting at a fire. He starts to dance the fire between his fingers. I get closer and he whips his head at me. My shadow is showing, crap. The fire ceases and he walks towards me, fire in hand. I assume in case he must attack me. He's a boy who looks about my age but nothing like the fearions I've met before. He speaks.
"Who are you and what do you want?" I move closer trying to stop my shadow from showing, why is this so difficult! He raises his voice, "I can see your shadow, reveal yourself or I will throw this at you," a ball of fire blazes in his hand.
"I can't show you myself," I speak on weak limbs knowing that this could end horribly. He couldn't kill the future queen. He should.
He speaks again, "Why is a Shadowlight out near Airien's court house? Why are you in the morer's woods?" He thinks I'm a Shadowlight, lets try and keep it that way.
"I come here to think. To escape life," I try to sound strong despite my trembling fear. His face works trying to place who I am.
"Reveal yourself," I have nothing to lose. If I don't, I might as well be dead. As I reveal myself he looks at all of my features. He still can't place who I am. I look at him confused as to he is as well.
"Are you a Fearion? I don't recognize you," I walk closer. Maybe I'll recognize him. "Why is a Fearion all the way out here?"
He starts to tremble, my fear passes to him. "I-I don't know."
"You don't look like the Fearions I know. They all have notable eye colors, not gray. Who are you?" I stand straighter trying to seem taller, show dominance.
"I can't tell you. You're a Courtli."
Well done, he just showed himself by one word, Courtli. "So you are a morer. A morer with Fearion ability, but better. Remarkable." His fire comes from him, he doesn't have to have a flamering to create a spark. He simply creates, like me. A electric pulse screams inside begging to be let go. Why do I feel this way? What is going on?
"You don't know me. You know nothing about me." He bolts. I go dark, following. It seems he doesn't notice that I'm following. About halfway I stop and wait until he goes to which home is his. I run again. He goes in and slams the door. Third house in the row, it's brown. They all are brown, a murky brown that is similar to the dirty water outside. I don't understand the separation of the morers and courts. We all have powers, what's the difference.
A Fearion morer. It makes no sense. How could he get away with this with the courts watching? If he can get away with this, how many other morers have a strong ability too?

Kingstrium is in five days. I cannot fathom a world where I have to listen to a man. A man who will tell me what and what not to do as if he's been royal his whole life. I don't doubt I'll be married to Adrien or an Indra boy. As much as Prasine and Liana should be together, and how much my parents want us together, our children won't have a lightning ability. Tht's the only problem with me marrying. My children won't be Electrolights. My parents have yet to decide whether Ve's firstborn son will rule and me marry to whoever is strongest. Or for me to marry an Indra boy and start a new royal line of Court Indra to be the ruling family. Father will most likely choose the first. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to have a kid like Eve, one to have my ability. I hope that. If my child has their father's ability and was born to be king or queen but won't only because of their ability, they'll be crushed. My child will most likely become consort and Ve's firstborn will be king or queen. I truly wish Ve ruled over me. Bless my child knowing that he or she won't be able to become king or queen one day.
The boy in the woods. How the hell is there a morer that can create fire. Why does he make my electricity beg to be released? I have no idea, but I cannot wait to find out. Who to tell. Who to trust.
