The sky was still dark out at 6:00 in the morning. As I looked through my glass windows..well walls kind of. Today was the first day back to school and I will be starting my junior year in high school. Summer was over , vacation, the parties, late nights, waking up three hours later instead of now. Well back to hell I thought as I moved my covers and got out of my comfortable bed.
I went into my bathroom and turned my shower on and got ready for the day.
45 Minutes later I was dressed into my uniform finishing my hair I decided to straighten it today. Once I finished I grabbed my book bag and walked to my sisters room. "Marina are you up". I didn't hear anything so I knocked "Marina I hope your up I'm trying to stop and get some food before we have to -
She opened the door with her toothbrush in her mouth taking it out. "Let's get McDonald's I'm craving Filloas" she said as she walked to her bathroom. I laughed walking behind her "I was thinking the same thing". "Are you two ready I want to stop and get food" we heard the voice of our brother Guzman. We just looked at him smirking , "why are you guys looking at me like that? Is there something on my face ?". He instantly started touching his face walking into the bathroom. We laughed at him "No Guzman we were just thinking the same thing " I told him.
"Good now prisa! Let's go" he said walking out. (Prisa means "hurry")
"Do mami and papi know I came home late last night?" "No Marina but you were about to get caught because mami was going to go to you're room but I told her you was sleeping but she still wanted to check so I did the pillow trick" I told her. She let out a breath "thank god , and thank you Lolita I don't know what I would do without you" she said . "That's what sisters are for" I said.
Thirty minutes later we were at school Marina and Guzman choose to eat there food on the way to school where as I decided to wait. "Saving some of your food for someone" my sister asked me smiling . I nudged her "no I just can wait until I get to school unlike you guys" I said. "Well me excuse me I'm a growing boy but I'll see you guys in first period I'm going to go swim first" he told us. I nodded head "hey catch you later in first" Marina said as she walked to her friends.
I walked to my locker where I seen Lu and Carla talking and Polo who couldn't help himself to be close to Carla. "Hey guys !" "Lolita mi Amor I missed you" Lu said as she hugged me. "Lu we just seen each other like two days ago" I laughed.
"Your my best friend two days is like a week" she said. "So how was your summer?" Carla asked me. "It was fun we took a trip to Puerto Rico for a week and of course Lu came" I said . "I have to spend time with my family in law" she said proudly. "There go Ander" Polo said beside Carla nodding his head in his direction.
