Emilio and Omar scrambled apart from each other as they heard a voice yell as the bathroom door opened. Both hearts beginning to beat rapidly as they turned to the figure standing at the door. "You're gay?!" Ander whispered/yell to them both but more directly to Emilio who looked nervous and embarrassed. Emilio quickly moved towards Ander as the words came out of his mouth.
Swiftly, Emilio's right hand was found on Ander's mouth stopping him from speaking once more "can you shut the fuck up before anyone hears you" Emilio demanded to Ander. Still shocked at what he just say, Ander nodded his head. Emilio took a quick glance at a startled Omar than turned back to Ander removing his hand from his mouth.
"So..?" Ander said waiting on a answer. Ander started to feel his heart strings tugging inside of him. He wasn't ready for the feelings that were about to consume him. Thoughts immediately started to feel his head. He was nervous as well just like the other two boys in the bathroom. He never got the gay vibe from either of them, especially seeing the way Emilio and Lolita were with each other.
"I am gay" Emilio said finally speaking. As the three words came out of Emilio's mouth, Ander begin to feel like everything around him was spinning. Gripping the wall next to him "what-t I thought I-I "Ander closed his eyes trying to focus on his words " I thought you were straight" he said.
Emilio dragged his hands through his ombré hair "I hide it very well..no one knows except Lolita" he said to Omar and Ander.
"But I seen you and Lolita today, you guys were outside the school hugging and holding hands " Ander said fast-talking. Emilio shook his head leaning against the sink of the bathroom folding his arms "we're comfortable with each other like that, nothing more than friendly though, I don't see her like that for obvious reasons and she would never do something like that with a straight guy because for obvious reasons again she has you" Emilio finished explaining.
Omar kept quiet through out the whole conversation between the two. But being Ander's friend the past few month he could say he knew the boy well enough to tell the look he had in his eyes right now. The look he knew all too well...the look of guilt. Something was bothering the boy in front of him, he could tell.
The way he stuttered on his words, how surprised he was to finding out Emilio was gay. He also looked as though he was going to pass out. And what made it more obvious was remembering him coming here..not with his girlfriend but the girl who kissed him months ago at the party...yep he just figured out in a matter of minutes Ander did something stupid.
There was silence between the trio, no one has spoken a word since Emilio explained to Ander what he say outside of the school. That was until Omar decided to break it "well, I'm going to head back down downstairs and get a drink" he voiced. Exiting the bathroom, Emilio quickly followed after Omar not forgetting to create a little space between them.
