Emi:    That's a great perspective to see! I am so glad to see how genuine you are about all this, and you seem to be growing in this stage of fear around the world. That's the most important thing to me right now, to try to stay genuine and keep meditating in the Word...day and night.

Me:    awwww lol thank you! I was just thinking out loud. It has taken years to get to this point, you know? It's hard to stay genuine and real when it is so easy to be influenced by the fake world and fake people and/or unbelievers. So I understand your concern. You really have to stay firm in your faith. All you can do is stay in God's Word and study and learn and pray.

Emi:    Yesss, you're totally right. So glad that you have kept on track, especially with all the new changes you must be going through...new church and now the whole pandemic.

Me:    (To be honest) I'm not so worried about the pandemic. I trust that it is part of God's plan. It was explained once that God's plan is like a tapestry. Thing is we only get to view the back of it. Looking at the back, it looks like nothing. But from the front...where God is standing also...is a beautiful scene. Everything (and I mean everything) is used for His glory. I'll admit that as (I assume) everyone else's walk is not all "sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows everywhere", mine is not. The more recent years I have definitely grown closer to God...however it's the most I have struggled with myself. Change is a hard thing. But here and there we are given opportunities to decide whether we want to fully submit to God or stay stubborn (which I really, really am). Slowly but surely I have learned to pray continuously and trust.

Emi: ...When you see it from His perspective, difficulties become opportunities to make a change. I think that this thing is a great way for us to inspire by not being afraid, people notice that. If you look at it from the creator's perspective as you said, you'll see that there is good in it. God is good all the time, and this event will turn out for the better. Like a revival of the church. It is a true wake up call for all of us. I hope it reignites that fire in all of us when we regroup and see what a blessing it is to be together. Really I think it will make us all stronger in the end. We just have to stick to the Word and be persistent.

Me:    OHMYGOODNESS YES. This could be a revival...that is the word I have been looking for!! In quarantine we are bored out of our minds. What is there to do? Often we get so bored with all the distractions that we slip away to be in our mind. This leads us to explore and ponder and overall discover hopelessness and flaws. We discover so much by just "being by ourselves". We realize we lack this and that or we are in want or need of something; because we are very hollow inside and we are just now realizing (because of time) that everything has never been able to fill the void fully and eternally. So we start seeking for that something. That someone. The Truth. The Someone who can (fill the void). Next thing we know...we've come to know Christ. As for believers...we lived in an age of comfortability and we were all distracted. This is our time to reset. Or rather to improve. And better and grow.

Emi:    Yes it is a time to inspire and help others find the way to the truth. (It should be a revival) We have all this time to ponder, as you said, but what are we doing with it? Now is the time for a change and we can make that a reality. We are light in a dark place. We can really shine through the dark.

Me:    Absolutely!!
