Brock's POV
**A week later last day of hunting season**

The snow was falling, as Cass, myself and the four dogs trudged through the snow. It was around two in the afternoon, as we were looking for a mountain lion, so Cass could fill her tag. I looked around on the ground, but couldn't find any tracks.

Joe's POV

Charlotte, Becky, Allen, and I were sitting in our rented cabin, trying to figure out a way to get those two to break those two up, when I saw that Cass posted a picture of the two of them, with four dogs, on Instagram. I ground my teeth together when I felt the anger rage inside of me. "THAT'S IT!!!" I exclaimed. "I've had it up to here," I shout as I stand up, raising my hand over my head, "I'm done! I want her no matter what," I piss as I go over to the wall and grab the gun I rented. "I'm going to do something and I don't care if I go to jail because of it!" I yell as I put on my coat and stomp out of the cabin.

Allen's POV

I watched as Joe left, with a gun in his hand. I huffed and decided to follow him. "You girls stay here and stay warm."

"Please don't have Joe hurt Brock," Charlotte piped up.

"Hey we don't want Brock hurt," Becky added.

"I'll try my best," I left and followed Joe's footsteps.

Becky's POV

"We need to do something about Cassie, but what?" Charlotte asked me.

I looked at the wall and saw that there was a small rifle leaning against the wall. I remember the guy at the gun place said that it was a .22 caliber long rifle. It was strong enough to make any big game, like bear and mountain lion, angry. A thought came to my mind and I smile. "I have a plan. Now listen to this. The guy at the gun place said that that rifle was strong enough to just anger a bear or mountain lion. Why don't we go where that lady was pointing to and anger a mountain lion?"

"But wouldn't that just turn on us and have ourselves landed into the hospital?" she questioned me.

"Not if we hide ourselves and make sure that the lion goes straight towards Cassie. Also keeping Brock out of the way," I answer with an evil smile appearing on my face.

"Well then let's go," we got up, got dressed up, and started walking. I held the gun in my hands as we stocked Brock and Cassie.

Brock's POV

The snow started to get heavier and soon I was starting to not see very well. "Hey Cass the snow is starting to get heavier. It would be safer for us to stop and head back to the cabin. I don't want anything to happen to us while we're out here."

"Okay Brock. I'm coming," I start to turn around and heard a snap of a twig. Ragnar, Bear, and Ace immediately start to growl. I look in the direction of the snap, but saw nothing. A small, light fog starting to roll in. I had a bad feeling and I start to walk towards Cass.

Joe's POV

"You fucking idiot! Why did you step on that twig?" Allen growled as me.

"Dude I'm from fucking Florida. How that hell would I know not to step on the twig?" I growled back.

"Look dude it's the number one thing when hunting. You don't make yourself known when you're hunting."
