Chapter 7

Mackenzie's POV
I was so scared
My heart was beating fast. I wanted to scream but no sound would come out
Greg undressed himself and climes into the bed with me
I started crying
" Shh baby.. I didn't mean to hurt but I'm going to make it up to you" Greg said
He grabbed my face and kissed me I bit his lip.
He forced my clothes off and well we all know what happened after that.
He rushed and put his pants back on
And left.
I couldn't stop crying
I went into Maddie's room crying
My eyes were red shot
" Maddie?" I said quietly as I shook her
" Melissa gave her a sleeping pill..she was having trouble sleeping" Chloe said
" Plus she doesn't want to talk to you" Chloe said
"Shut up Chloe." I said as turned around
"You know everyone hates you.. even your own mother. You don't need to be here anymore" Chloe said
At first I didn't understand but once I realized that she told me I should end my life I left and went to lay down
I sat there just thinking about what would anyone do if I looked myself and I came to the conclusion that no one would care or even remember my name after a week.
I got up and took a shower.. I scrubbed and scrubbed until my skin hurt and I was red.
I laid down
I eventually had fallen asleep at around 3.
I was woken at 7:23 am
" Get up we have to go for our privates" Maddie said to me from the door
"Close my door.. I'm not going to dance anymore" I said as I turned to fave the window
" What?! Why? Your such a good dancer Kenzie" Maddie said
" No one wants me there.. just go please. tell mom I just don't feel well" I said
"No I won't tell mom anything besides that your quitting. ugh you always have to be dumb and ruin everything" Maddie said as Chloe came and stood beside her
" what am I ruining? Me not dancing doesn't affect you at all so just leave it Maddie or do you just want me to keep dancing so that you can keep stealing my solos or any chance I have at getting a special part in the group hm! Do you want to prove to mom that your the talented child?! Is that it Maddie!?" I said grabbing Maddie and pushing her into the wall
" Damnit! Answer me!!" I yelled
"I-I no" Maddie said
" What the hell Mackenzie stop messing with her" Chloe said
" you better shut up ill do a lot fixing worse to you Chloe" I screamed
I looked at Maddie and when she tried to get up I slapped her and pushed her down with my foot.
" Are you scared yet?! Huh!" I yelled
" Mackenzie Ziegler! Stop it!" I heard mom yell at me
She rushed over to Maddie and hugged her and told everything is going to be okay
She then got up and slapped me hard in the face.
I stood there staring straight ahead then I grabbed my dance bag and got in the car
5 minutes later they all came to the car and we drove to dance.
I hopped out of the car and ran into the den to get changed
I had to put a long sleeved crop on because my cuts.
I didn't want anyone to know..it was my secret.. ever since the show everyone always knew something but not this time.
People knew how Melissa was really but sometimes she's actually really nice to me
Everyone knows she favours Maddie.. everyone does.
I went into studio D for my private with Rachel.
* after my private*
I grabbed my ALDC sweats and put them on and grabbed my phone .
I walked out the front doors of the studio and walked to the park from the other day
I could see Braiden.. I walked over to him and sat on the swings
I liked his company we sat in silence for an hour until he started singing Skinny Love.
I remembered when I was going to get a solo to that song and then Maddie came and took it.
" Braiden?.." I said " can I aka you a deep question?" I asked
he looked up at me with his watery green eyes
" Yeah" he said
" What's your favorite color?.." I asked
He started laughing and his dimples showed. " That was really deep" he said laughing harder
" But yellow..what about yours?" He asked
" Red." I said quickly "how come you aren't in school?" I asked
"I get homeschooled. But my parents are away. they went to LA to talk to some prestigious teachers there." he answered
" Oh.. I'm homeschooled too but I have a tutor." I said with a smile
"What's the .." he got up and walked over to me and grabbed my thigh " what's the ALDC?" He asked looking at me
" A dance studio..you've never heard of us. the show 'Dance Moms'" I said nervously that maybe he would go crazy or something
"Oh yeah cool my little sister watches that show all the time. she loves dancing but my parents won't let her they think it'll interfere with her cello lessons" braiden talked and talked all about his family and some of the friends he has in Texas. he was pretty cool and I didn't feel so connected to someone in a long time
" So now that I've told you all about me.. what's your story?"
That's when I got so nervous I didn't know what to do
Should I lie?..no because eventually it would come to light
But I was so scared to tell him everything I had ever been through
