Chapter 8

Mackenzie's POV
So today was going to be hell.
At the ALDC we were having a lock-in and we basically have to dance from 8am-10pm and I hate it because that means I have to be stuck in a room with a bunch of people who hate me
Once we arrived Maddie ran straight in.
I looked over to see Kendall getting out her car..she looked at me and rolled her eyes
I just kept walking..i really wanted to go see Braiden but I couldn't once I went in I wasn't leaving till the next day..
I walk inside and went straight into the den and I saw some of the senior company and then I saw Brooke and Paige
Paige looks up at me and smiles but then Brooke smacks her leg and whispers something and Paige looks away from me
I go and set my stuff down on a bench and take my sweats off when Nia walks over and I was going to say Hi until I realized she was moving her stuff away from me
I was so mad
"Seriously?! You guys are overreacting about this! I said all that stuff like last year!" I yelled and rolled my eyes when none of them even looked up at me and I ran out
Kendall's POV
"seriously?! You guys are overreacting about this! I said all that stuff like last year!" Mackenzie yelled
But none of us said anything and I heard and little crack and I knew she was about to go and cry and I wanted to go and comfort her but I couldn't not after what she had said
" Guys.. Don't you think we are overreacting?" Paige said
"No Paige! She needs to learn a lesson she needs to stop being so bratty and rude" Brooke said while Chloe and Nia nodded.
Mackenzie's POV
I ran out and into the parking lot and I just wanted to leave and run and keep running.
I ran to the park but Braiden wasn't there and then I heard a heart wrenching scream and saw a house and walked over slowly. When I stepped on the porch the door swung open. A man came out and he looked mad as he walked down the steps
" Wait... Who the hell are you?!" The man yelled at me
I assumed it was Braidens dad
" Um I came to see Braiden... is he home?" I asked nervously
" I don't know where the kid is.. How'd you know he lived here" he asked
" Oh um I di.." I was saying and then I saw Braiden and he had a bloody nose
I ran over
" Oh my gosh what happened?!" I kept asking but he wouldn't answer me
" Tell me what happened?!" I begged
"NOTHING!" Braiden yelled at me
I backed away a little. I was afraid he would hurt me
" maybe you should go.. I'll see you later" he said as he came over to me and gave me a kiss on the head
" Be safe" I said
" Yeah you too.. wouldn't want to lose you" he said smiling
When I walked back I saw all the moms standing in the lot
" Kenz! What are you doing in the woods?" Holly asked
But I ignored her and kept walking until Melissa grabbed my arm
" Holly asked a question" she said giving me this mean eye look
I just rolled my eyes
" What's wrong Kenz?" Kelly asked
" Ask your daughters.. now let me go!" I said
" No why were you in the woods" Melissa asked
" why do you care?..oh wait you don't this is just an act so everyone thinks things are perfect" I said angrily as I pulled my arm out of her grip and went back inside
I saw Chloe and Brooke when I walked in. I tried to avoid them but Brooke stood in front of me
" Go in the bathroom." Brooke said
" Why?..."
I was afraid.. and I went in the bathroom I couldn't believe what I saw..
How could Maddie do this to me?
How could the team?
I couldn't believe it.
What I saw was shocking

A/N- okay so I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. Sorry I haven't updated its been a really long 3 weeks and I'm just trying my best to be postitive. Guess what I'm 11 weeks clean from cutting!!
So I'm really happy about that
