With Great Power
A Decade Later
It was a Thursday, 7:00 am, with a visible sunrise easily seen from many places; more so from a certain green-haired someone's bedroom window, Speaking of Izuku...
"BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP-"
...he was able to wake up thanks to his trusty alarm clock, which he turned off due to the noise irking him. He then proceeded to do his daily routine: brush his teeth, take a shower wear his school uniform (he's in 8th grade), and eat breakfast before leaving for a school trip to Marvel Laboratories.
"Bye mom, bye dad!"
"See you later. Have fun!" state Inko and Hisashi, feeling very proud of their 14-year-old son as he left.
One problem, though: Izuku is running a little late.
Ten minutes later, he barely manages to catch up to the bus, his teacher scolding him... sort of.
"Midoriya, you're late. We were about to leave without you."
"Sorry..."
"Well? Hop on already!"
"Yes sir! Sorry sir!" Izuku nervously replies as he boards the bus. While walking towards the back, someone decides to stick out a leg to trip him. It worked.
"Ouch."
Every student erupted in laughter.
Izuku looks over to find that someone to be his childhood friend-turned-bully, Katsuki Bakugo, with an evil sneer.
"That's what you get for delaying us, you Quirkless Deku!" he practically screamed, scaring and saddening Midoriya as he hastily stood and sat alone all the way in the back.
Life hasn't been easy for Izuku over the years. He was born Quirkless and was ridiculed for it; the teachers wouldn't even try to stop the bullying, for the most part. Due to that, he grew to be the timid, socially awkward boy everyone knows, and, over time, lost Bakugo's (whom he still calls Kacchan) friendship. Nowadays, he gets bullied by him mostly for not having a Quirk. The sadder part is that Izuku has no other friends who can defend him. It's safe to say that he's victimized and lonesome.
Shortly after, everyone hopped off after the bus made a stop in front of 3 tall, grey building connected by 2 skywalks, the center building labeled Marvel Laboratories in white letters on a red background. As Izuku and his classmates approached the building, they noticed a man standing in front of the glass doors. He had blond hair-slightly darker than Bakugo's-, a white lab coat, yellow shirt sporting a dark tie, and a pair of khaki pants. It was also obvious that he lacked his right arm, his real one, anyways. Instead, there was a prosthetic one in its place.
