I Am Here!
"...and he looked so cute in that All Might onesie, I still have pictures from back then! Wanna see them sometime?"
"Sure. I don't see why not."
Me and my big mouth... Why did I jinx it for myself...?
Why am I complaining to myself? Well, if it isn't very obvious, Mom apparently found this to be the "perfect" time to tell All Mi—Mr. Yagi embarrassing things about me, not to mention offering to show my baby pictures. The worst part? He took her up on that. This is already too mortifying.
They've been talking for a long while, so when we got home, I didn't notice immediately until Mr. Yagi called me out.
"Young Midoriya, I think this is where we part."
Mom spoke for me.
"Yes, thank you for accompanying us."
"It's nothing, don't worry, but I have to get going now. See you both soon."
This time, I got to speak.
"Bye, A—Mr. Yagi."
I assumed he noticed my stutter by the look he gave me for a split second. He left to where we couldn't see him, after which Mom and I entered our apartment. I went straight to my room to take off this suit (looking at it depresses me) and take a quick shower. After getting done with that, I basically spent the rest of the evening doing who-knows-what.
Probably nothing, considering how bored I am at the moment, but I'm sure I will figure something out.
Next Afternoon,
4:03 PMWell, what do you know, today wasn't very pleasant. All because of one thing: Kacchan suggested I should take a swan dive from the school roof. Since then, I've been feeling really sour.
Right now, I'm swinging to Dagobah Beach, still contemplating today's death threat.
Idiot. What if I really did commit suicide? He could go to jail for that.
I should've been over that, but those words hit me hard, which is why I'm still in a sour mood.
"Look, it's that spider guy! Love the new costume!"
A random person praising me. Heh, I guess that's one way to have your own mood sweetened.
About two minutes in, and I already found myself in the... I don't even know whether to call it a beach or a junkyard at this point. I messed around with my phone for a minute before hearing a certain unmistakable laugh.
"I am here!" All Might said after his dramatic landing. "And I came to help with your training!"
Oh yeah!
"I would prefer, though, if you could take the suit off."
Oh man...
I noticed that his trademark smile looked more faltered, and that doesn't usually happen unless he finds himself in a really serious situation. I chose against prying into his business, though.
"Why?"
"Well, you wouldn't want to bring too much attention to yourself, right?"
"...good point. Okay, I'll get changed."
Conveniently, I did have a change of clothes in my backpack—the same set I had for yesterday. I changed in a (sorta) hidden place before returning to where All Might stayed. Speaking of, I think he inferred a point even I didn't consider until now: What if drill guy saw yesterday's training?
