Some Info!

So, I feel like I need to clarify some things about layout! So, there are two dorms that are split.

Dorm One:

Gonta - Kirumi - Shuichi - Kokichi - Tsumugi (travelling) - Keebo - Miu - Maki

Dorm Two:

Rantaro - Kaede - Ryoma - Angie - Kaito - Tenko - Himiko - Korekiyo

Second of all, this is a note specifically for some readers (@Evie049) who are a little bit annoyed a character is developing a relationship with another character and not them personally. I will be writing adapted versions of the fanfiction for all who ask because I have too much freetime <3

Welcome to... this! It's... a thing? That I made? Pretty cool!

I would like to clarify some things about some of our more major beloved characters here and some of my head canons.

Shuichi Saihara:

Shuichi Saihara is only on first name basis (most of the time) with Maki, Kaito, Himiko and sometimes Kokichi. This will expand at some point into most (if not, all) of the characters. My reasoning behind this is pretty simplistic. Maki, him and Kaito hung out together quite a lot and Himiko was a survivor alongside him and Maki. Kokichi comforts Shuichi when he's upset, which is why Shuichi tends to let his barriers down around him some of the time.

Shuichi has a minor crush on Kokichi, causing him to become angry at him for... certain things. This isn't as big as Kokichi's (might I add ;) ) CANON crush on Shuichi. It isn't just senseless shipping, because Shuichi still has bad feelings towards Kokichi, no matter how small they may be. Because this is going off of canon, Shuichi never really understood Kokichi and these feelings barely shifted after his death. The only thing that causes him to feel guilty about Kokichi's fate is the fact that he never got to tell him how much Kokichi helped him and others in the killing game. 

Shuichi's parents were abusive, as stated in canon. This is brought to light in many different ways in this fanfiction, so keep an eye for subtle hints.

Shuichi can be provoked quite easily and he does apologise probably too much. He does crave attention and comfort from others but is way to shy to admit it.

Kokichi Ouma:

Kokichi Ouma cares deeply for the closest people in his life, which does include Shuichi and (I will say why in a second) Miu. Shuichi is easy to explain going off of canon. He does have a crush on him and does want to make sure he's ok, put tends to hide behind a fake and dramatic persona. Miu, on the other hand, is more of a love hate relationship. Kokichi cares for Miu because he can see that she's incredibly vulnerable. However, unlike with Shuichi, he doesn't hold back when it comes to ridiculing her. Deep down, he does care. Just not as deeply as he probably should.

Kokichi does become easily provoked and usually crosses the line when it comes to a lot of things, resulting in him constantly wearing a mask that barely comes down. He's very smart, but doesn't show it. He's very sympathetic, but only reveals it when it matters most.

Or he disregards all of that, tears down the mask and then acts like his emotions were lies.

I also do head-canon that Kokichi has claustrophobia, most likely as a result of that compressor. So, that does come up. I think it adds something to his character, but it isn't a massive plot point or anything!

Miu Iruma:

Miu Iruma... is very emotionally vulnerable, as stated above. In reality, Miu is an incredibly shy girl who uses brash and crude comments to over-act her personality, kind of like Kokichi and how he over-acts his. She uses sexual innuendos and dirty jokes to lighten the mood, though it doesn't always go that well. Eventually, she'll come into her own, using this brash personality to help herself learn how to be her. 

There are other main characters that will become more important, such as Rantaro, Kaede(d) Keebo and Maki Smacki Attacki, but these are our main three.
