Of course Shuichi wasn't okay. He'd just broke down over three words before making out with someone he wasn't even sure he was attracted to. There was no way that he was okay and that was obvious.

Shuichi looked down at his shuffling feet before meeting Kokichi's violet eyes. He pulled his gaze away before he got lost in them. He clasped his hands tightly together before muttering a small "Yes." Kokichi raised his eyebrow. "No you aren't," he retorted, scoffing. "You never even told me what happened, Saihara!" he whined. Shuichi had a pained expression on his face. "Isn't it obvious?" he said to Kokichi, his voice laced with dismay. "I... I had a..." but he couldn't get the words out.

Shuichi felt exhausted, but he did end up talking to Kokichi. "When I stared into that mirror, I felt everything crumble down on me," he began, "So, I grabbed my phone and began to text you..." Shuichi muttered. Kokichi looked up at Shuichi, a dull kind of understanding plastered in his eyes. "It was horrible, I, ah, s- stalled at the door for what seemed like f- forever and thoughts ran through my head. I thought t- that- Mmph!"

Kokichi had reached up and pulled Shuichi into a passionate kiss. But this time, Shuichi pulled away. He couldn't meet Kokichi's confused stare, ashamed. "Huh?" the confident, bold and passionate boy in front of Shuichi looked hesitant and afraid. He looked hurt. But that could just be an act.

Shuichi's shoulders tensed as he stuttered incoherently. Shuichi's eyes began to well up with tears. He looked down and he looked up. Down, up, down, up, never fixed. For one painful second, Kokichi pushed his feelings down and took Shuichi's hands in his. This caused Shuichi to flinch. The weight of the world rested on each other's shoulders. Shuichi pulled Kokichi into a weak hug, his head slumping onto Kokichi's shoulder. Kokichi gave a light laugh.

Shuichi gripped Kokichi's back tighter, inhaling sharply. "I can't do this Kokichi," he muttered. "What do you mean, Shuichi?" Kokichi questioned, warily using his first name. "I... I don't love you, Ouma." Shuichi pulled away, leaving Kokichi with a shocked expression on his face. They stared at each other for what seemed like hours, waiting for someone to break the silence.

"I know that Saihara! It was all just a joke!" Kokichi smiled through obvious pain, trying to fool Shuichi. "B- But what happened last n- night I- I thought you'd be m- more upset-" "It doesn't matter! Forget about it, Saihara!" Kokichi shouted. "I'll see you around." he gave a brief smile before practically running to his dorm-room. Shuichi stared shocked.

Miu put her phone down before running across to Shuichi. She began to comfort him, saying how it was okay and Kokichi was fine.

But life was a blur now.
