CockItchy is OFFLINE

Kokichi practically ran out of his dorm room. It was three in the morning and Shuichi's words still rang in his head, almost as if they had just been said. He texted Miu, telling her that he was there and could hear a curse from beyond the door. It took a minute, but a flustered Miu opened the door. "I didn't think you'd actually come, idiot." she scowled. "Were you...?" Kokichi smirked. "It... It doesn't matter!" she hissed at him. He smiled innocently as Miu begrudgingly let him in.

"Why are you here, Kokichi." she muttered. "You're a whore! And I need some good, whore advice from a professional whore like you!" he smiled gleefully. Somehow, Miu became more flustered as she nodded. "What is it?" she questioned, her arms crossed as they sat down on her bed.

"Shuichi has a crush on me." he said in one breath.

"Kokichi, you got me up at three in the morning... just to fuckin' lie?" she sounded so offended that Kokichi failed to hold in a giggle. "Oh my god Miu! You are exactly right! I feel SO bad!" he put up a middle finger, to which Miu rolled her eyes at. "No, I'm not lying. But thanks for the concern! Nishishi~!" he poked his tongue out at Miu.

"First of all, it's not like I got you up. You responded to my text almost instantly. And, judging by your reaction I'd say that you were most certainly doing something before I walked in. Hey! Shuichi's detective skills are rubbing off on me!" he smiled sweetly at the embarrassed Miu.

"And second of all, why would I lie about this to you? I came to you for help, duh!" he mimicked his mind being exploded. Miu looked at him, her expression changing from a confused frown to a shy smile. "But why me?" she asked him. "Ugh! Mi-u!" he rolled his eyes. "I already told you! You're a big, whore, slut-bag! And I need to talk to someone with experience!" he 'explained' this slowly, as if he was talking to a toddler. Miu let out a sigh, not sure of what to say.

"So, what do you want me to do, 'kichi? It's not exactly... easy to understand the whole situation just based on what you said." she spoke quietly. So, Kokichi explained everything that had happened, minus the whole panic-attack part, because that would surely make her concerned, and he didn't need that. "Are you sure?" "Of course I'm sure, I've been lying since I could speak, Miu." he stared at Miu as if she was stupid.

"Do you like him back?" this time, Kokichi was the one blushing as Miu spoke softly to him. Kokichi stared off the edge of the bed. It was just like the morning before. Not sure what to say, to scared to speak clearly. Miu put her hand around his shoulder. "That's... a bit fuckin' gay, Kokichi." she said as she burst into laughter, as did Kokichi.

Suddenly, Kokichi received a text message. And it was from Shuichi.

Kokichi looked wide-eyed at Miu, who was mirroring Kokichi's expression. Miu's gasp turned into a smirk as she grabbed Kokichi's phone off him. "Oh it's a fucking paragraph, man!" she smiled, eyes still widened as she stared at the screen. "Read it out then, bitch!" he whispered frantically at Miu. "Damn, okay, shithead." she laughed.

Shuichi was in his dorm; it was three in the morning and he couldn't sleep. Did he just fucking lie to the ultimate fucking liar? Was he batshit crazy? He replayed Kokichi's shocked expression in his mind over and over again, desperately waiting until the cruel tape of rewinding shock stopped replaying. He felt his breathing pick up, as it did earlier. Everything felt like it did hours ago, the loss of control was unbearable. He stood up, staring in the mirror at his reflection. Maybe Kokichi didn't notice his lie. But that would be stupid, of course he noticed. He noticed Shuichi's small laughs when he was anxious, his eyes when he smiled and... his body movements when he lied.

He always pointed it out in the killing game when they spent time together. Just how Shuichi noticed Kokichi's smile when he lied, his face lighting up when they spent together and all the little things. God, had he always seen Kokichi like this? Why was everything so good about him suddenly surfacing and everything horrible about Shuichi consuming his very being?

In a frantic mess, Shuichi grabbed his phone and started to text him.

Miu coughed before reading out the message. "Kokichi, are you okay? You were acting weird all throughout the time we spent together and I was worried about you. I could see how you reacted when I said I loved you. Is that why? I'm sorry if it is. Of course, I still like you as friends, which would make sense because I don't like you romantically. Sorry. And, sorry for texting you so late. If you wake up because of this, it's my fault and I apologise for that. Please text me when you can." her voice trailed off near the end. "Miu?" Kokichi asked. "He's, uh, typing."

"Oh, he sent another message!" she exclaimed. "Shh! Also, no shit Sherlock, he was typing. Read it out!" he replied, urgently. "Okay." she muttered before looking back at the phone. She hesitated. "Just, go." she said, handing him back the phone. She hugged him tightly, which caught Kokichi off-guard. Kokichi nodded at Miu as he ran out of the room, a smile on his face.

Truth - Kokichi, are you okay? You were acting weird all throughout the time we spent together and I was worried about you. I could see how you reacted when I said I loved you - is this why? I'm sorry if it is. Of course, I still love you as a friend, which makes sense because I don't like you romantically. Sorry. And I'm sorry for texting you so late. If you wake up because of my stupid texting, it's my fault and I apologise for that! Text me when you can.

Truth - Sorry for sounding so desperate! I didn't want it to come across like that! Oh my god, I keep apologising. This probably makes me sound so stupid! Sorry.

Truth - I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Lies - Shuichi?

Truth - I'm sorry I loved you.

Lies - Loved?

Miu could hear the frantic breathing of Kokichi growing louder and the pounding on the door growing more and more intense. She started to cry, not for her own sake, but for Kokichi's. She had seen the string of "I'm sorry" and knew that it wasn't going to end well. She sat, frozen on her bed, cold tears dripping down her face as she heard the knocking end and an exasperated sigh. An eternity later, she heard a choked up Kokichi curse. Her face permanently stuck in an everlasting shock, not being able to move, barely breathing, just sobbing at Kokichi's misfortune.

Sobbing at the despair.
