It started out as a normal day until Virgil and Janus got into another heated argument.
"UGH You shouldn't even be here god why can't you just mind your business and go back to the others!" said Virgil "wow I'm surprised hearing that from you of all sides" Janus said with a grin, Virgil facial expression immediately changed from anger to fear "stop it" "stop what? Are you scared I'm gonna say something that you don't want the main sides to hea-" "Shut up Deceit" Janus was offended that Virgil had cut him off while raising his voice.

"Oh so that is the case you're just hiding behind your little secrets huh?" Patton interrupted "what secrets? Virgil what's going on what is he talking about??" The other sides just stared at each other then back at Virgil "wow you never even told them not even one of them I can't believe you are you really so ashamed that you were a da-" "SHUT UP YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT" Virgil looked at the sides with panic then back at Janus he looked so panicked and scared "please don't do this.." Janus was in shock he'd never seen Virgil this scared but he was angry that Virgil yelled at him, that he tried to put him down again, he's angry that he left in the first place "WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS VIRGIL YOUR SO ASHAMED OF YOURSELF THAT YOU FEEL THE NEED TO PUT ME DOWN DONT YOU THINK THEY SHOULD KNOW OR AT LEAST LOGAN SHOULD KNOW OF ALL SIDES THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO HE HAS A RIGHT TO KNOW VIRGIL..who you really are!" The room fell silent no one expected Janus to lash out like that "Virgil what is he implying why have you been keeping secrets from us or from me for that matter what's going on!" Logan said breaking the silence

Virgil looked as if he was going to cry he didn't know what to do he worked so hard to be accepted and build trust with the sides, but he was so scared to throw that all away "Virgil if you don't tell them I will" Virgil looked up at Deceit, he didn't want to tell them but he had no choice, he wanted it to come from his mouth, he wanted to be the one to say it Virgil looked up at everyone in the room "I-I used to be... one of them...I used to be.." Virgil's voice was shaky but he was trying so hard not to cry out of fear he looked at Logan then at Deceit then back at everyone else "a dark side"

Logan stepped in interrupting Virgil "your seriously defending him! "Roman would you just stop and give Virgil some time to explain himself" Deceit said "why should I listen to you snake you're a dark side and apparently so is he so why should I trust anything either of you have to say" "Roman he Was a dark side key word WAS" Logan said hoping Roman would understand "I don't care if he was a dark side he was still one of THEM! "Look okay I'm sorry..but I-I'm not one of them anymore okay I left them a long time ago" Virgil looked at Janus, but Patton decided to interrupt "I've been very quiet during this whole argument but kiddo I just have a question, were you ever still with them when you first came here.." "I-" Virgil looked at everyone then back at Patton "yes.. I was still one of them but that was a long time ago" Roman decided to immediately interrupt "WHAT you were still a dark side when you came here! Ugh what were you some kind of spy!?" "WHAT NO OF COURSE NOT!" "Well then why are you getting so defensive over it?!" "Because it was a hard time for me okay I-" "oh here we go again Virgil always making up some emotional excuse to try to make us feel bad for him boo hoo poor Virgil" "ROMAN! That was totally uncalled for!!" Logan said getting frustrated with Roman

"Oh God you Logan, you of all sides to be defending him he's been lying to you for so long and don't try to act like you two don't have a thing going on because it's so obvious! But how are you not the slightest bit upset with him" "I never said I wasn't upset" "then why are you defending him?" "Because he still deserves a chance to be heard!" "Well I think we've already heard enough from him and I think Patton would agree with me" "you didn't have to drag me into that..but I do agree with Roman he did explain enough" Virgil looked at Patton hurt "Pat.." "Virgil DONT he already said he had heard enough" Virgil looked at everyone. Janus looked at everyone then back at Virgil "Virgil I'm sorry I didn't know they would react like that i just thought-" Virgil looked down then back up at Janus "No it's fine..you knew exactly what you were doing, you said they had a right to know..now they know" Virgil started to head to his room.

Roman gave out a sigh "I'm going for a walk" Roman then left the room. "I think I'm gonna start making dinner.." Patton went to the kitchen. "I'm just gonna head upstairs to..um..go work on something that I've been meaning to take care of" "Logan!" Patton shouted from the kitchen "just give him a little space I think he needs some time to himself right now" "you're right pat.. but I'm still gonna head upstairs" Logan said leaving the room Janus stood there feeling so guilty he didn't know the sides would react like that he just shouted it out of anger Janus decided to go upstairs to privately talk to Virgil and apologize.
