My world was dark and scary once again. I could hear people speaking silently around me. Someone splashed water on my face and so my eyes flew opened.

I was chained to a wall. I struggled against the bonds, but Hank walked out of the shadows and laughed saying "You cannot break those. It's celestial bronze." I stopped struggling. "Where am I?" I asked. "Back in Thalassa's chambers." Hank responded with his arms crossed.

My eyes widened. "Why does she want me? What is she going to do?" I asked.

"I don't know why she wants you or what she will do. But you'll find out soon." Hank responded.

No. I can't go through this again. Hank smiled and left. I tried to slide my hands through the cuffs, but it was no use.

"Well, well, well. We meet once again, Allie White." Thalassa's voice boomed around me. I wanted to curl up in a ball and cry, but obviously I didn't.

"What do you want?" I asked through gritted teeth. "We never finished our experiments together, sweetheart. I want to finish. Once done with those we shall start new ones." Thalassa responded. When Thalassa said 'experiments' she means 'forms of torture that don't kill you'.

She continued with "Since you killed my last servant, I needed a new one. So, I called up an arai from Tartarus to help me."

No. She can't seriously be mixing my two worst nightmares together. She's crazy. "No." I said.

I could feel her smile and say "Oh, yes." I shook my head and closed my eyes as the images mixed together.

The arai, the water whips, Echidna, Hyperion. All of it. I screamed and struggled against the bonds. "Sweetheart, honey, the real torture hasn't even begun yet." Thalassa mused.

I gritted my teeth at her. "Let me go!" I yelled at her. She was silent. I could almost feel her shaking her head with a smile on her face. "Hank," Thalassa called. Hank rushed in and said "Yes, my lady?"

"Slice her back." Thalassa ordered. I glared at him. He swallowed but nodded. His eyes shone with fear.

Hank unsheathed his sword and sliced across my back. "Agh!" I screamed. He continued to slice until it felt as if there was no skin left to see.

I kept my mouth closed for the remainder of the slices. I cannot show weakness. Not to Thalassa. Not to Hank. Not to Drew. Not to anyone. I had to stay strong, like always.

"Good, Hank. Now we wait until Drew comes back with a progress update from the camp." Thalassa's voice boomed.

"You are all sick. Why do you want me, Thalassa?!" I yelled at her.

"You are just fun to play with. Nothing more or less. When the time comes I shall use your blood to make me rise. I cannot do that now, though. So until then, I have to entertain you somehow. This is my form of entertainment." Thalassa responded.

Hank walked around to face me. I felt blood in my mouth. I spat it on his face. "Agh!" He yelled. Hank wiped the blood off of his face. His mouth formed a snarl and he grabbed my neck. He squeezed until I was almost out of air. I tried to slip out of the chains.

"Hank! Stop! We need her!" Thalassa yelled. Hank let go of my neck and I took deep breaths. I blinked the spots away from my eyes.

"I believe a thank you is in order." Thalassa said. "What? I don't think so." I responded. "And why not? I could have let him kill you." Thalassa responded.

"No you couldn't. You need me to rise." I responded with a small smirk. I could almost feel her expression drop.

"Fine." Thalassa responded with. "Hank, it is time to bring her to the sun room." Hank nodded and unchained me. I collapsed onto my hands and knees. I was loosing a lot of blood, plus I was still disoriented from Hank almost choking me to death.

He grabbed me by the hair and pulled me down the hall. After a little while, Hank put me in handcuffs and forced me to stand. I obeyed.

As we walked, I looked around for my necklace. Finally, I saw it. It was in the third cell closest to the end of the hallway on the right. It was on a table. Why, I have no idea. Hank kicked my ankle and so I fell onto one knee. Hank unlocked the door to what I was guessing was the sun room.

He pulled me in by my hair and sat me down in a chair. Hank un-cuffed me. He then tied me to the chair. Hank pressed a button on the otherwise plain black wall and slammed the door shut.

A bright beam of light shone from one part if the room. Then another. And another. And another. This continued until the entirety of the room was engulfed in light.

Then it started to burn. It felt as if I was drinking from the river of fire again, but the burning sensation was on the outside and lasted for longer. I let out a yelp but otherwise kept quiet. I gritted my teeth.
I could feel that I was on fire. Literally.

And so I yelled. "AHH!" I screamed. My skin burned like a million tiny suns rested on top of it.

The cuts on my back stung like Hades. I screamed for what felt like hours. Finally the fire died down. I took short, quick breaths. Hank entered the room shortly after. He had a mirror. Hank held it up to my face.

Oh my gods.

I was burnt. Burnt as in looking like a corpse. It looked like most of the skin on my body had been burned off. If I could, I would have covered my mouth and cried. My hair was still there for some odd reason. So were my clothes.

It was just my skin that was burnt.

Hank untied me and handcuffed me again. He led me down a hallway and kicked me into a cell.

I landed with a thud and scraped my hands and knees. "Rest. More coming in the morning." was all Hank said before he slammed the door shut and walked down the hallway. As his footsteps echoed away, I began to tear up. I still feel that I am burning.

"AGH!!!!!" I yelled. I needed help. Ambrosia. Nectar. Something. I would die if not healed soon. I lost a lot of blood and am still loosing some now. Plus I must have third degree burns at the least all over my body.

I closed my eyes and silently cried myself to sleep.
