Rolling his chocolate brown eyes in annoyance, the sound of music pounded it's way into his head. It was at maximum volume and was forcing itself to be known throughout the house. It wasn't uncommon for the four walls that held up a roof to vibrate along with the pace of the newest song Jisung had put on that day. Mr. Han would have just discarded it (pushing the faint and provocative lyrics to the back of his head like he usually did) if he wasn't already too stressed from the day he experienced. Today he much rather sit back on his plushy brown couch, cuddled up with a blanket and a warm cup of tea, while he watched the older episodes of a drama. He didn't want to listen to his son's deafening lifestyle.

As he entered his home, a grocery bag dangling from the tips of his fingers, he noticed his elderly father sleeping peacefully in his favorite recliner. He was pushed back in a laying postion, feet up on the respected foot rest with a thin blanket covering only his lower half. The family flat screen television was on a sports channel; showing an instant replay of a man smacking a baseball with a metal bat and exclaiming it was a homerun. The TV was long forgotten, it now just being the cheers of a crowd blending in with the voice of a female rapper that played from Jisung's room. It was extremely noisy and loud. Mr. Han was surprised to see his father not even twitching whenever an unexpected blast practically shook the entire house.

But the second Mr. Han had gently placed his hand down on the elderly man's shoulder, his eyes fluttered open and he looked around at his surroundings in curiosity. He looked genuinely confused about where he was, but that was expected. Considering he suffered through a disease that is incurable. It was only necessary that Mr. Han and Jisung kept their patience.

"Dad, it's okay. It's me...your son" Mr. Han spoke above the still overwhelming sounds that invaded every corner and crack of the house. At the words the grandfather allowed a grin to spread across his thin lips. He nodded in understanding while patting his son on the shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah. I must have fell asleep while watching the game."

Mr. Han hummed. He then looked around at the unusually clean house. The small coffee table that was perfectly placed in front of the couch had nothing on it—it being unnatural as it's normal for there to be at least be a cup placed upon it. The widowed father furrowed his eyebrows as he took his eyes off the empty table and placed them back on his own dad who was eagerly watching the baseball game again.

"Dad, did Jisung make you your lunch?" The grandfather looked at Mr. Han with a head tilt. "Jisung your grandson, did he make you your lunch before you fell asleep?"

At the rephrased question the old man shook his head as to say no. He even rubbed at his stomach to show that he was a little hungry. It was expected, as he hasn't ate since that same morning (where Mr. Han served him a delicious breakfast before leaving for his job). And when that information was established between the two adults, Mr. Han had gotten upset. Jisung liked to listen to his music, but he also liked to neglect his very own grandfather. It was infuriating. That was the only thing Mr. Han ever asks Jisung to do. To watch over the poor old man who couldn't even use the bathroom without an amount of help. So with a nod, the single father straightened his back as he stomped his way towards the bedroom that everyone could easily tell was Jisung's.
