𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐘 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓;Lia was the one who called for their group to stop the dance they were practicing. They were in the middle of raising their knees, their hands also reaching down as if they were pulling something. Jisung was already moving onto the next move when her voice left the barriers that were her cherry red lips. He hadn't realized that she stopped abruptly, a scowl now lacing her pretty features and her thin arms crossing over her chest. It was why when her words of distress were being screamed, impulsive fright struck him and he was now tripping over his own feet. He went crashing to the floor, feeling as though every last bit of oxygen left his body the second his back collided with the wooden floor. He was quick to groan out in pain, eyes squeezing shut as he tried his hardest to inhale as much air as he could.
"What the hell Lia!?" Hwanwoong was the one to shout back at the female. His hands were balled into fists, eyes narrowed in on the brunette who returned such look. After he had turned off the music, silence radiated around the four coworkers, and a deadly tension engulfed only two. "You could have really hurt someone!"
Jisung would have gotten up to get in between the two like he always did, stopping whatever verbal fight that would break out at any second; but with how drained he currently felt, he thought it would be best if he just stayed on the ground. So he threw an arm over his shut eyes, blocking out anymore of the beaming room lights that shined from above. He could feel his other female coworker Yuna take a seat beside him—her shaky hand reaching out to touch his blonde locks in a hesitant stroke. Jisung liked her much more than Lia. Even if the first few days she seemed to be just as snobby and conceited as the other, her true nature of being a shy and frail girl had been exposed when Lia didn't show up to work one day.
"Are you okay? That was quite a fall you took" She had whispered the words; but it almost sounded inaudible due to the volume the other two members talked to each other with.
Considering he did hear her in the faintest, he removed his arm so he was able to look at her. Upon connecting gazes he gave her a tight smile and a head nod. It was enough for an answer as she was soon replicating the grin, and her small hand that was still in his hair had started to massage his scalp. Jisung almost found himself humming with content at the gesture.
"If you would have just landed the beat then I wouldn't have had to scream!" Lia shouted. Her perfectly manicured index finger had been jabbed into the chest of Hwanwoong. It was obvious that he wanted to cringe at the strike, but instead he kept his expression stone cold, pushing her finger away.
"I was on beat! You're just a blind bitch who has it out for me!" He was then smirking as he flipped imaginary long hair over his shoulder. "You're just mad that I'm better than you" He inspected his own plain nails, picking at something that wasn't there. And as he sucked his teeth he threw Lia a wink. "Prettier too."
