𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍;
𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓, 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃;He looked at his boss with a frown. His head was down and his hands were clasped together behind his back. While receiving his pay check, he had to explain that it would be his last one. With now becoming an artist who worked in an obnoxiously tall building, he would have no time to also work the other two jobs (he only really had to help pay bills). He already told his other boss at the dirty convenience store that he quit. Except then he had a humongous smile on his face, small body jumping through the aisles as he shouted that he refused to work at the dainty shop any further. He had no sympathy for his coworkers, and he surely didn't regret stealing a bag of chips right off the shelf before walking out. It was completely different from how he almost sulked in front of a woman who managed to show more care for him than his own father.
It was rarely ever shown, but it was surely implied. Sometimes on Jisung's break they would sit and talk about their lives. She would share her lunch when he would forget to pack one. She gave advice. And she even gave him a little more money when it came to payment. The blonde didn't want to think it was because she sympathized with him, but when discussing financial problems every now and then, it was surely the reason why. She was like his mother—and just like the first one, he had to let her go.
He was at first only going to tell his boss that he was leaving, but then Jaemin overheard. And being the dramatic that he is, he cried before spilling the news to anyone he could. It lead to all of his coworkers agreeing that they needed to get together sometime and hang out. They refuse to just forget him so easily. Especially when he started working at a young age and is now retiring.
"Okay guys, see ya later!" He wanted to sound happy. Make it light and hearty like usual. But knowing that it was the last time he would be working alongside them, he couldn't help but sadden. He and a few others pouted but waved farewell anyway.
He walked to the side of the building where the parking lot was placed. He moved quick when feeling rain begin to fall upon him—matching his down-casting mood. For years he's chained his bike to the same lamppost; and for this last time he'll be disconnecting it after long hours of being in a chlorine tainted pool. He shouldn't feel so upset about leaving a seasonal job. But here he was, almost on the brink of tears because he was now a normal citizen to the people who ran the place. He actually had to suck up a trail of snot that tried to escape, and rub at his eyes in order to make sure no tears could be seen. It was just after he did a small check up on his appearance did a car pull up. He began to step out of the way, when he focused in on the familiar black vehicle.
The car stopped a few feet away from him, engine turning off and the air going silent again. The blonde only continued to stare at who he hoped was a certain tall business man. And thankfully when the driver side door had opened, out stepped Hwang Hyunjin. He was wearing normal attire just like the first time they had a meeting like this. His black hair had fallen in his face, causing him to use a ring cladded hand to move it and show his gorgeous features. He was smiling—an expression that Jisung couldn't help but return. And after a minute of staring the blonde forgot about his bike, instead running into the arms of Hyunjin.
