A/n: I forgot Simon. I'm not smart sometimes. Also, made up Shadowhunter name is this here story. It's AU in case you don't gather that. I prefer the book storylines and in this rather than the show's, so basically, what this is is when Simon sacrificed his immortality to save Magnus in the demon realms and became human again, except that didn't happen. I don't feel like making up a whole nother plotline, you can decide what happens instead.
I was leaning against the wall of the alley, waiting for the demon to come through. Nasty thing. I had backup, in case I needed it, though I rarely did. I was a Rosewood. We could do anything.
Then I saw him. Not the demon, but the vampire. My seraph blade lit up, just in case I needed them. Then I saw the demon. It fell from a rooftop, already dead. I just kinda stared at it for a second, not really comprehending what just happened. Then the vamp I had seen a minute ago hopped down after it, bow still in hand.
"A vamp that hunts demons?" I asked.
He chuckled a bit. "Yeah, I hunt with the Lightwoods at the Institute."
I took a good look at him. I had to admit, he was cute.
I stuck my hand out to him. "I'm Y/n"
He took it. "Simon."
He didn't really say anything else, just kinda smiled a big goofy, fanged smile at you.
A/n
I'm sorta back. Still being sneaky bc I don't get ungrounded until Thursday, but I know where my Chromebook is hidden, so we're good. I was on video chat with my lover while I did this. He's crazy but I love him. This is the third time I've been with him, so I guess third time's a charm.
