Reunion

The next few days go by strangely but okay. The other jobs with Ian weren't like the guy who was shot. On the day before the last night of working i finally got my insurance for my new car sorted out the last night of work goes by smoothly as it could have. I climb out of my 4x4, lock it and walk into my house. At 5 AM. I walk into my room, to the end of my bed. i take my uniform off and flop down, falling asleep as soon as my head hits the bed. 

I wake up to my alarm at 12 PM and haul myself up. I walk to the shower and spend about 30 minutes washing. I walk out, dry myself, put my fringe dye in and go say hi to my family. I sit on the end of my bed and take a swig out of my bottle of water. 

I walk over to my window and look out. That's when i see something that strikes me with fear. A black suv. Same model same make as my ex-girlfriends mum's. My ex drives her mum's car now because i'm not there to drive her to the mall so she can drain my bank account. I look at the Registration. Of course it's my Ex's. I roll my eyes and my phone buzzes. I expect it to be her but no its only my best friend Chloe. I look at it.

  Hey you wanna meet up and grab lunch or something before meeting with the others tonight?

I reply: Sure! Should i pick you up or?

Chloe: Pick me up, you know where. 

Me: there soon.

I close my phone, change into something a bit nicer and walk out the door. I unlock my new car, the first time driving it. I hop in ad fire it up. I pull away and its very smooth compared to my ford in america. I go to the place i always pick her up. A park we would hang out at sometimes all together as a group. She doesn't notice me at first. I step out of my car and call over to her. "Bitch!" She looks over and laughs. 

She walks over to me and hugs me. She's taller then me "sup hoe i missed you!" I giggle "Nothing much." The tall cheetah lets me go and i get in my car, she sits beside me. "Well this is new, like your old one, what happened to the land rover?" I start it up. "Still got it but this is way cheaper to run and look what it can do." I quickly blast my lights and sirens. "That's not legal right?"I giggle and show her a document. "100% legal." She nods and giggles with me.

"Where are we going?" She thinks for a minute. "Town?" I nod and pull away. "So how's America?" I sigh. "Everything's huge, i have to go to high school over there but i have something big to tell." She nudges me. "Go on tell." I roll my eyes. "I got a boyfriend and he's fucking amazing." She proceeds to freak out in a good way. I pull up at a red light. "If you don't stop freaking out you can freak out on the side of the road." She giggles and calms down. "Can i see?" I hand my phone over with an album of some of the selfies and pictures of or with Grant he sent or we took open. "Only the first five pictures." She giggles and scrolls through. "you two are so cute together!" I start to pay less and less attention, it takes 30 seconds to a minute for her to stop cooing at each picture. All of a sudden i hear a screech and my phone lands in my lap.

 I look down and see a picture that he sent me. He's holding his shirt up with his sharp sexy teeth and pulling on the waistband of his gym shorts and boxers with his claw, taking the picture in the mirror with his other paw. I take a long look at his hot abs before shutting the photo off the screen and turn my phone off, putting it in a cup holder. "You scroll too far?" A small voice says "y-yeah." "I told you not to." She laughs awkwardly. "yeah sorry i didn't think you would have those kinds of photos." I get to a roundabout and go round "it's okay, It's  good you didn't scroll again." I look over at her and she has her paw hovering over her mouth, laughing and a little shocked.

I get to to the motorway (highway) and its full of traffic. It's moving at an ok speed. I roll my eyes and move with it. It's not as bad as i thought and we soon get into the busy city center. "Where now?" Chloe turns her phone off and looks up.  "uhhh high street." I nod and find a place to park. 

I get out of my car and Chloe exits with me. We walk down a narrow street and walk onto the wide high street. We walk down past all the banks and estate agents at the top of the street and get to some stores. We walk on one side of the street, we will look at the left side on the way back. I look into all the stores and at all the people rushing round. i get to the first mall on the street and walk in. We walk past a starbucks and i feel Chloe tug my arm. "Chloe starbucks tastes bad, even you prefer costa, there's one down the street we will go soon." She sighs. "Yeah i guess, i will only complain about it if we get it." She giggles and i roll my eyes. 

I stop at a small skate shop and walk in. It actually belongs to a friend of Ian's, Ian taught me to skateboard and we used to come to his friends shop and skate with him occasionally when i got good. I'm not looking for anything for my short board i'm looking for some new wheels for my long board. 

I pick up some yellow wheels, a nice change form the light blue ones i have on. I walk past the staff door and the owner walks out. "Haven't seen you for i while." I fist bump him."It's been a while Mike, Hows things?" He walks behind the counter. "good, we'll have to arrange to skate together like old times." I nod "Yeah, im here another week then im back to US." I hand him over the money and he passes me my wheels. "I will figure it out with Ian, see ya later!" I nod and say my goodbyes, i walk out the store and walk next to Chloe.

"We can go grab your coffee now." She nods and we walk all the way to the doors of the next mall, its way bigger. I walk a little inside and turn to the right, walking into a costa. Chloe grabs her drink and walks back up to me. "you not getting anything?" I shake my head "Im getting a coke soon." She nods and we walk a little further through the mall. We get to lush and Chloe drags me inside. Yay time to be forced into buying over priced soaps by annoying employees. I stand around while Chloe looks  at everything and buys a few things. An employee walks up to me. "Need any help?" I shake my head  "No thank you im just waiting for my friend." she walks off and watches me like a hawk. i know if i show any interest in anything i will be forced to buy the most expensive thing they have somehow. 

Chloe finally walks back and i  walk out. "where now?" I think for a few minutes. "i think flying tiger." She agrees "Go look at all the random stuff they have." Every time i go i usually come back with some of the weird and random stuff they sell. We walk into the main part of the mall, its huge and has 3 floors. There are some huge globes hung from the roof that could crush a lot of people and a fall from one of the escalators is a certain death. we walk round to the store and enter. 

we walk around and i buy a phone handset you plug in your iphone because im extra and some other random shit. i walk out with my fun but un needed investments and Chloe decides its time for lunch. "where you want to go, the whole other building that was built specifically for food or upstairs?" Chloe walks in the direction of the new building and i walk after her. "what we going for?"
