"The key to pranking is simple, they need to be cleverly thought out and perfectly executed." George smiled. He and Fred were showing Maddy and Simon about their hobby called pranking. They all sat on the floor in the twins room. Maddy was reminded strongly of the day the twins showed her their products.
Have your products been working? She asked, and was answered with a mischievous grin on both twins. Fred stood up, and crossed the room to grab a briefcase that he placed inside their small circle.
"Can I ask what products?" Simon scratched the side of his head nervously, unsure of what he was getting into.
"Why of course, young apprentice," Fred replied, "George and I plan to open up our own joke shop when we graduate this year. Our products will be aids to future mischief makers."
Like the Marauder's Map. noted Maddy, before picking up a candy from the floor, scrutinizing every detail in the wrapper.
"Just like the Marauder's Map." George answered, before frowning, "Wait! How do you know about the Marauder's Map?"
My dad is Moony! Maddy boasted, a pompous look reaching her eyes.
Fred and George were rendered speechless, gaping like a fish out of a water. Simon just looked confused.
"What's the Marauder's Map?" he asked hesitantly, as if he was worried that he should know it already.
George was the first to snap out of his daze, and stared at Maddy as he spoke. "The Marauder's Map is one of the best inventions to ever be created. It's a map of Hogwarts, but it shows everyone—"
"— everywhere —"
"— every minute —"
"— of every day."
"It's very useful for not getting caught. You mean to tell me Professor Lupin was – is a Marauder?
Maddy nodded, a look of pride for her father filling her eyes.
"You must know the others then!" exclaimed Fred, and was just met by a small nod. "When he was telling us about his pranks — you don't mean he was actually talking about the Marauder's pranks! I knew he was a prankster, but I'd never —" he trailed off, looking baffled at Maddy.
Dad's Moony, Peter Pettigrew, her nose scrunched in hatred at the name, was Wormtail, Sirius is Padfoot, and James, Harry's father, is Prongs.
"Sirius is.... You mean to tell me.... This house.... Owned by a Marauder." George whispered flabbergasted, barely able to make out coherent words.
Fred abruptly stood up. "Class dismissed, George and I have business to attend to."
As they scurried out of the room, Simon turned to Maddy with a confused expression etched in his countenance. "Wizards are weird."
Maddy gave him a lopsided smile. Well, I guess you're weird then too.
"And you?"
I'm a mute witch and half-werewolf. I was born to stand out.

Darienne sat on the edge of the bed in the room she shared with Maddy, reading a Wizarding children's story called, The Warlock's Hairy Heart. Maddy had given her the story to try and assimilate her into the Wizarding World. Her and Simon had been in 12 Grimmauld Place for almost four days, but the only full-fledged witches and wizards she had met were Sirius, Mrs. Weasley, Mr. Weasley, Fred and George. There were other oddities she spotted, like a portrait Simon told her screamed, and a weird little creature called Kreature. She was told that there was a meeting going on in the kitchen at that moment, and she was going to meet other adults, including Maddy's father, who she was interested in meeting due to him being a werewolf.
