Your Pov

I was sleeping the whole day when I opened my eyes to read a sign that said, 'Welcome to Woodview' as I gasped at the city. The city buildings were gigantic and there were pretty parks and even a beach.

"We're here at last." My dad announced.

He stopped the car to park beside the driveway to our new two-story house in the middle of two houses. The moving arrived as I got out to help unload the truck and move the furniture inside and started unpacking them.

"Geez, it's going to take probably a week or two to unload this stuff." My dad grunted while carrying the boxes and then I heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll answer the door." My mom said.

She walked over to the door and a woman stood next to her husband, two kids that were a girl a bit older than the boy, and a...monkey?

"Hello! We saw you moved into the neighborhood and we just came to say hello." The woman said.

"Oh well hello, I'm Barbra and this is my daughter Y/N. My husband is in the kitchen putting the boxes in the other room." My mother said.

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Tim Botsford this is my wife Sally, my son TJ, our pet monkey and friend Bob, and my daughter Becky." Tim introduced.

"It's nice to meet you all."

"If you want we can help you unpack." Mrs. Botford insisted.

"That would be lovely."

"Awe, mom do we have to?" TJ whined.

"Yes TJ. We have to help them unpack so we can get to know more about them." Mrs. Batsford said.

"Why don't Becky help with Y/N's room and TJ, Bob, you can help me unpack the stuff in the living room." Mr. Batsford suggested as TJ and Bob let out a little whine.

I walked over to Becky as she looked at me giving with a warm smile saying, "Hi Y/N I hope we get to know each other sooner. You're going to love Woodview and the great things we do around here."

When she said that I smiled softly and said, "Thanks. I hope I do learn about Woodview."

"Let's get unpacking so we can get that out of the way," Becky said.

"O-Okay." I stuttered.

As Becky and I went upstairs to unpack we talk about our favorite things to do and what I did before moving here. After we were done unpacking we looked at the room that we accomplished as I smiled.

"Thanks for helping me unpack Becky. Your the best!" I hugged her around the waist as she giggled.

"Your welcome. Say, are you coming to Woodview High School next week?" Becky asked.

"I think so. My parents should have enrolled me in that school." I replied.

"Great." She smiled as I returned it when TJ and Bob walked into the room.

"Hey guys, uh, Becky mom said we have to go home now," TJ said.

"Okay. See next week Y/N and enjoy your stay in Woodview." She waved goodbye as I waved back.

"Bye Becky, TJ, and Bob. Thanks for helping us unpack." I waved as they left and I went to go down for dinner with my parents and then went to go take a shower.

When I was finish showering I change into my pajamas and shut my eyes to go to sleep.
