Your Pov

It was a lovely day and there were no villains around to ruin to this day because I was watching my favorite show "Pretty Princess". I was really into the show when I heard my mom called me to the kitchen.  I walked into the kitchen to see my mom and dad were waiting for me and smiled.

"Honey, your father and I were thinking about going back home during winter break." She said as my eyes beamed into happiness.

"Really? I get to see my old friends again and we can spend time together." I said as my parents chuckled over my enthusiasm.

"Right. We will be leaving once your winter break begins." Dad said.

"I can't wait to go on winter break!" I said with excitement and they were cut off by a huge SPLAT on our window with the color yellow.

"Uh, dear, what is that?" My mom freaked out a bit as my father squinted his eyes and then chuckled.

"Haha, it's just mustard, dear." He chuckled.

"Who would throw mustard at our property?" I asked myself as I went outside to investigate and what a surprise to see that it was another villain riding in a cheeseburger car and this villain is unlike any person I've ever met because he had a sandwich for ahead.

"Give it up Chuck!" I heard Word Girl shouted as she dodged Chuck's attacks with his mustard and ketchup weapon he had to use against their battle.

"Forget it Word Girl, you won't stop me. I even upgraded my weapon too! Barbeque bolt!" He shot his weapon but Word Girl used her sidekick Captain Huggy Face to devour it.

"Ha! That's a little trick we've learned from fighting The Butcher." She said with a triumph smile.

I watched as Word Girl put an end to Chuck by tying him up with a metal pole to keep him from escaping as I applaud.

Becky/Word Girl Pov

I took care of Chuck for today when I saw Y/N applauding for defeating him as I thanked her for the support.

"Word Girl! That was amazing." She said.

"All of the days work if it hadn't me or Captain Huggy Face to stop him." I smiled.

"That reminds me since you've don't have any more criminals to fight. Are you free to hang out with me as you promise?" She asked in a pleading tone with her bright E/C's staring into mine as I couldn't help but blush.

"Why not? I got a lot of those bad guys off my back so we can hang out." I shrugged as she smiled before grabbing my hand making my heart beat fast.

"Great! How about a picnic?" She asked.

"Sounds good to me." I nodded.

I watched her walk inside the house when I saw my best friend Violet walking as she spotted me and waved.

"Beck-I mean Word Girl! What a surprise to see you here." She said with a small wave.

"Hey Violet, I just defeated Chuck and now I'm hanging out with Y/N," I replied.

"That's good. Does she know who you are?" She asked whispering in a low tone and I shook my head in response.

"Nope. I wanted to stay this way but..."

"But?" She leaned forward as I looked down sadly.

"Violet, I-I don't know what to do. I mean, I have feelings for Y/N and if she finds out I'm a superhero she won't be my friend anymore and I'll lose my crush." I looked down at my feet as she placed a hand on my shoulder smiling assuringly.

"Don't think like that Becky. She's not going to leave you and I know it." She assured.

"What makes you say that?" I asked.

"I have a feeling things will turn out good even if she finds out on her own. You can't be a normal girl and hero unless you dare to tell her that your Word Girl."

She was right. I remember keeping my identity a secret when Violet and Scoops found out the truth about me. They promised to never reveal it because if anything happens then my family and my life would be ruin.

"Your right Violet. I'll think of some way to tell her and then-"

"I'm ready! I've got everything we need for the picnic. Hi Violet!" She said holding up the basket as I looked at Violet who nodded as I smiled.

"Right. Let's spend the day together Y/N. I can take us to the park and Captain Huggy Face you can head on home." I said as he nodded while I picked up Y/N bridal style flying to where the park is.

After we flew in the sky, I brought us to the park so we can have our picnic together. I learned a lot about Y/N that I wished that I could listen to her for hours and not have to leave. The food was delicious and Y/N was the one who made it from scratch.

"Today has been the most exciting day and I enjoy the food too," I said holding my full belly as she giggled.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." She said.

I then felt a drop on my nose and then another as I saw the sky turn dim realizing that it was raining hard.

"Aww, I didn't think that it was going to ran today. I'm sorry, Y/N." I apologized as I took us to get our selves dried off and it was my secret hideout.

I know I shouldn't be doing this and Bob will kill me if he was here to see Y/N right now. I sat her on the recliner to hurry to the bathroom and get a towel for both of us to dry off. I watched as Y/N took the towel from me as her eyes bulged so wide like Christmas lights.

"I-Is this where you live?" She asked.

"Uh, well...I-I wasn't sure bringing you here was a good idea at first. But I came to my senses to trust you enough that you can down here to my secret hideout whenever you like." I insisted as she looked around the room not missing every bit of it.

"You love 'Pretty Princess' too?" She asked.

"I am such a HUGE fan of her. Who doesn't love her?" I asked in an obvious tone.

I wasn't expecting to see her jump into my arms and hug me in a tight grip that I could hardly breathe as I laughed it off.

"Your the best and I promise that I won't tell anyone where you live." She said with a bright smile as I brush through her hair.

"I knew I could trust you, Y/N," I said leaning a bit closer as our nose touched as I could feel her breath in mine.

"W-Word Girl?" She asked.

I took the chance as I leaned forward meeting my lips onto hers as I felt her returned the kiss only peeking to see her surprise expression on her face. I broke the kiss and covered my face while facing away.

"I-I'm sorry I didn't know what I was thinking!" I apologized quickly as her hand gently grip on my shoulder and she spun me around and uncovered my face that was in a blushy stage.

"It's okay. I feel the same way too." She confessed.

I sighed in relief and said," I'm so glad. I had to get it out of my chest."

"Me too. So does that mean, um...are we?"

"D-Dating? Well, let's see how far this relationship will go, and maybe I can take us out sometime. Just not in bad weather."

We both laughed as an idea popped in my head, "Say since our first day together didn't go so well. Maybe we can do it again sometime if there are no villains interrupting us."

"Sounds good to me. How about next week?" She asked.

"I think I can manage."

"Splendid! I can't wait for our first "Make-up" date." She said with a slight chuckle.

'I wish that I can tell her the truth, but I don't have the courage to do it. I have a feeling that she's going to know what's up with me and lying isn't going to fix nothing. I've got to think of something before it's too late.' I thought as I showed Y/N, my new girlfriend, around my secret hideout.
