Today was unlike any other day in Woodview City you were just heading back home from visiting the library to return the books. When you saw a boy holding a remote control and had a robot next to him that looked a lot like Word Girl. How is this guy controlling a robot in the city and no sees this but you?

"Hello there." You greeted as he looked at you with a blank expression and forced a fake smile.

"Hello Y/N, I presume? The new girl at Woodview a week ago?" He asked.

"Yes, and you are..."

"My name is Toby and if you're wondering about my beautiful creation of Word Girl it's so that I can tolerate this city." He said as your eyes bulged a bit.

"Um, why?" You asked.

"It's because I'm bored and I decided to create a robot that resembles Word Girl. Isnt'she dashing"? He grins as he sighed heavily daydreaming of his crush/enemy he fell in love but you, on the other hand, felt a weird feeling in your chest.

"I doubt Word Girl would fall for a villain." You said.

"Excuse me? How dare you say that to me?" He asked offendedly.

"I would agree with her Toby. You're going to cause a whole lot of destruction." Word Girl appeared from behind him as he gasped when he heard her voice.

"Oh, Word Girl, I'm glad to see you here. Do you like the beautiful creation I did to make you more aggressive?" Toby grinned and you continued to frown at him.

"How about you can start by shutting down? You're making a mess!" Word Girl lectured.

"Yeah turn it off." You agreed.

You're pov

I felt a strange feeling in my chest when Toby had hearts for Word Girl even though he is a villain to cause damage in the city. But as he talked about Word Girl I began to feel a little jealous that he had a thing for her. Wait...did I say jealous?

"Alright Toby, if you won't stop then I'll just have to take the remote from you." Word Girl said as she zoomed over but robot Word Girl grabbed Toby to carry him away to places.

As she tried to catch him and I continued walking the other way around but Toby's robot kept annoying me especially since he has a crush on Word Girl. As Toby and robot Word Girl landed in the middle of the road safely, the real Word Girl crashed in the road.

"That was a bad trick, Toby!" I shouted.

I then saw robot Word Girl leap into the air ready to smash Word Girl but Toby pressed on a button to stop her.

"Oh, I just knew you and Wordbot would become friends," Toby said.

"As if that thing would befriend a hero." I stuck out my tongue at him as he rolled his eyes.

"It's like you both are the same, well, except she's stronger and faster." Toby bragged.

"Heh, there is a difference between us." Word Girl chuckled.

"I know big words, Toby," Wordbot said.

"Uh, please Wordbot I'm trying to have a conversation with my dear friend Word Girl," Toby responded to Wordbot who began to feel a little down but anger built up inside of her.

When Toby was about to demonstrate Wordbot's techniques the tables have turned when Wordbot grabbed Toby's arm and said, "Toby belongs to me!"

"Uh, let me go!" Toby demanded.

"It looks like Wordbot is jealous of you hanging out with me," WordGirl said.

I watched as Word Girl took care of Wordbot to defeat her fair and square. Toby's mom came to punish him and apologize for the hero for her son's behavior for who knows how long he would keep doing this.

"Thank goodness that's over with." I sighed in relief.

"Oh, hello there citizen. What are you doing out here?" Word Girl asked.

"Just finished visiting from the library and was on the way home." I replied.

"Oh, that's great to here. I better get going now." She said ready to fly away as I stopped her.

"Wait! Don't leave just yet!"

What am I doing?

"Uh, okay? Is there something wrong?" She asked.

"Uh, yes, there is! I-I was hoping maybe we can hangout sometimes when your not so busy?" I asked shyly as WordGirl let out a chuckle and pat my head.

My cheeks began to turn pink and she said, "I would love to hangout with you. If you want we can do something fun whenever I'm free."

"R-Really? Great! I hope we can plan it." I smiled.

"See ya and stay safe!" She said as she flew away as I smiled to myself.

"I can't believe I just talked to Word Girl for the first time. She even said we can hang out sometime!" I triumphed smiling nonstop on the way home.
