Your Pov
I woke up bright the next day getting dressed and ready for what today was going to be. I heard Scoops talking about a new hero in the city name Miss Power. I decided to go see her space ship and I was amazed at the size of it compare to Word Girl's secret hideout. But more importantly, I knew Becky missed the big sale of 'PrettyPrincess and The Magical Unicorns', so I went to go buy one for me and her. I wanted to surprise her since she told me over the phone that she was very busy and didn't get a chance to buy one. Strange...I never thought Becky would be so busy lately and she hardly keeps up not only me but our friends.
I sometimes ask her what she was busy on and she would come up with excuses like homework, studying, running some errands, etc. I wasn't too convinced about it so I asked Violet and Scoops about it and they began to ramble on about other things just to change the subject.
What is going on with my friends?
It was getting very suspicious that everyone was acting weird, but due to the new hero in the city, I didn't want to intervene. Just then I saw Chuck The Sandwich Making Guy causing destruction in the city as I rushed to go see what he was planning on. As I arrived there, I saw Word Girl and Miss Power was there to stop him, but I then noticed how different Word Girl was acting towards the villains. Usually, she would try to convince them to not go any further, but when Chuck told her that he bought the last 'Pretty Princess and The Magical Unicorn' set her blood boiled in rage. I watched as she yelled mean things at them causing Chuck to almost cry, I glanced over to Miss Power, and she had a large smirk on her face. What was she up to?
"Well, done, I told you that would work and it's their weakness." Miss Power snickered. She took the collectible figure away from Chuck and handed it over to Word Girl.
"Word Girl! Stop!" I shouted climbing inside of the robot sandwich as she and Miss Power stopped.
Her eyes gleamed and she walked over to me holding the collectible figure in her hands smiling.
"Y/N, what're you doing here?" She asked.
"You know exactly what I'm doing here. Why are you acting so mean towards the villains lately?" I asked in an angry tone as she flinched a little surprise of my outburst.
"I-I was only-"
"No. You were only saying rude things to make Chuck upset and all of that was to get this, right?" I pointed at the collectible as she hunched down as I continued to frown.
"Well, I didn't...I was only..." She spoke softly until I saw her facial expression change. "Why are you sticking your nose into my business anyway?"
I bulged as I frowned, "Because I wanted to check up on you, since your so busy hanging around with Miss Power."
"Your just jealous." She said in a blunt tone.
"Excuse me, I'm not jealous. "
"Whatever, why don't you just leave me alone. You are so damn annoying and I can't stand it!" She yelled and covered her mouth as I felt a small pang on my chest as I huffed.
"...Fine.." I said walking out of the robot exit and glanced back her, "I was going to give you the same exact figure from yesterday's sale. I guess I'll have to give it to Becky or Violet."
"Y-Y/N, wait...I didn't mean to..." She stammered her words as I left out of her sight for good.
Word Girl/Becky
I can't believe I said that to her and she looked so upset. I never saw her so angry that I find it kind of cute. But still, I felt pity to say those things...but it actually felt good for once.
"Nevermind her Word Girl, she doesn't know what being a hero is all about." Miss Power claimed in her perspective.
The truth was that Y/N is a hero in my eyes, but to Miss Power, I take it as a joke to her.
