You wake up the next morning and it seemed darker than it is when you normally wake up. You check your phone and it says 5 am. You then see Josh start to wake up.
"Sorry did I wake you"?, You say
"No, not at all, your fine", Josh says.
"Since we're both up, do you wanna go get some Starbucks"?, You say
"Sure",he says.
You both get up and get dressed for the day. You guys head downstairs quietly to see both your parents talking.
"Hey", Taylor says.
"Hi", you both say.
"What are you both doing up this early", your dad says.
"We were just going to get some Starbucks", Josh says.
"Ok, have fun", Laura says
"And stay safe", your mom adds.
"We will", you say as you and Josh walk out the door.
You both get into your Jeep and drive to the nearest Starbucks. When you guys get there you decide you guys are gonna go into it and sit. After you guys get done ordering, you both sit down.
"Hey, remember the time i asked you to the first dance our school held" Josh says randomly.
"Yeah, that was probably the best and funniest way to ask me, but I loved it", you say.
°•~Flashback~•°
You were in the sixth grade and on a field trip to a bouncy house place. There were a bunch of bouncy houses in this gigantic building.
"Hey", Joshua approaches you when you were about to go down the slide at the bouncy house.
"Heyyy", you say," what's up"
"So, you know how the dance is in a couple days" Josh asks
"Yeah, why", you say
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go with me. Maybe. It's fine if you don't want to. You know what. Maybe you don't want to. It's fine, I'mma just go" he says super nervous.
You laugh.
"Don't be nervous, of course I would love to go with you to the dance. Why wouldn't I. Your literally the sweetest guy and my best friend"
"Ok good, now watch out", Josh says.
"Wait why", you say
He then pushes you down the slide and slides down after you.

"You were so nervous", you say
"Yeah, that's only because you were the first girl I ever asked to a dance", he says.
You pause.
"Really", you ask
"Yeah, I liked you from the moment I met you, no, I loved you from the moment I seen you"he says.
That gave you so much butterflies and your face grew red. You didn't know what to do so you stood up, grabbed Josh's hand so he was now standing up, and kissed him. You kissed him right on the lips. You said no more. He grabbed you by the waist and you grabbed the back of his neck. You definitely missed those kisses so bad. You both finally pull away.
"Man I miss those", you mumble
"Me too", Josh looks at you and your face turns red because you thought he couldn't hear you.
"We should head home now" you say to him
"Yeah let's go", he says
