'You did nothing bad, Giyuu. It's just fate that announced my death, but don't worry I would be waiting for you hereafter'

Upon returning from your mission, you went to the garden to relax just a bit. You saw two familiar silhouettes dancing under the tranquil moonlight.

"I don't want to dance."

"Come on, Giyuu-san don't be such a wet blanket!"

You let out an 'oh' sound, realizing it was those lovebirds.

"They really look cute together." you remarked, trying to stop your tears from falling from your eyes.

You really love Giyuu and you knew him way more longer than the Insect Pillar. Even though if you want to, your heart can't seem to remove its love and affection for him. With that said, you really can't imagine the pain its giving to you.

He literally shut you down, saying that you were out of his league.

Oftentimes, you would ask yourself how why he failed to notice of what you would proffer.

'Just don't think about it!' you screamed internally, reassuring yourself that everything will be back to normal.

You turned your back to them and walked away, rubbing your puffy eyes because of the non-stop cascading of your tears.

Tomorrow morning, all the pillars were called for a meeting by Oyakata-sama.

"My children, regarding the demon on (town name) town, I will se-" Oyakata-sama's speech was interrupted with your continuous coughs.

"Master, may I excuse myself for a bit?" you managed to say that in between your coughs.

"Sure, my child, I hope you'd be good in no time." he then went on with what he was supposedly to say.

As you opened your hand, you shrieked.

'Petals covered in blood.' You sighed to yourself, ascertain that you have the Hanahaki disease.

"Are you alright?" Aoi worriedly asked.

"Yes I am, this cough is nothing!" you give her a smile, a strained one.

You were about to vomit, so you went to a close bush but this time you vomited thorns. You clutched your chest in pain.

Aoi rushed towards you, and was about to call some kakushi but you begged her not to.

"I-is that the disease?" You nodded.

"There is probably a cure right?" she stated trying to recall on whatever she knows about the disease.

"We shou-"

You put your index finger to her lips, signaling her to lower her voice.

"It's no use, I've already confessed yet was turned down and my aching heart couldn't let me get rid of this feelings. Aoi-chan, I know you are now very frantic but please don't ever mention a word to anyone unless I told you too. " you responded, trying to maintain your composure.

You knelt down and put your right hand on her left shoulder, reassuring that everything would be fine.

The twin-tailed quickly dived into your arms, burying her head into your shoulders while your hand making its way to her head, stroking it gently.
