"Oh, Y/N, have you heard?!" Mitsuri asked as you read a book to kill some of the tedious minutes that was making you impatient.

"What?" you deadpanned. "Someone in the Demon Slayer Corps had brought a demon alongside with him?"

"And?"

"And Tomioka-san protected them from Shinobu who was about to decapitate the demon." she added.

"I see..."

"I suppose that person would be brought here and will be punished accordingly." you said and Mitsuri only let out a giggle.

You only focused your gaze at your book, not even listening to everything she said.

Mitsuri then stole your book. "Such a lovely book you're reading, can I?"

You nodded in response, receiving a smug look from Mitsuri, which you replied with a straight face expression.

"You were about to answer 'give me that, Mitsuri!', but you're still charming even if you're like this." she pinched your cheeks.

"Kanroji-san, Y/N-san, we are being called by Oyakata-sama."

Mitsuri held your wrist and ran out of the archives.

"I can walk on my own." you said with a stern voice. Mitsuri loosen her grip on your hand.

Everybody except for you, Muichiro and Tomioka announced that the demon should be beheaded, together with the burgundy boy, while Giyuu should be disciplined because he had protected the demon.

Everybody was being rowdy and dissonant while you were staring into space, keeping your mouth shut.

"Everybody, how about we listen to the boy's reason on why he protected the demon, shall we?" you spoke with a calm and composed voice.

"She's right." Giyuu agreed. Everybody then nodded in agreement.

"She's my younger sister and she never ate any humans, she will fight alongside with me, so please.." the boy in our front begged.

"Oi, is this the moron slayer who has a demon with him?" Sanemi says, holding a small box, which you thought that it must be protecting the demon from the sunlight.
