Chapter 9: He met Mom

Top and I go to the nearest fast food restaurant and he ordered 3 Café latte, 2 club house and a burger with mozzarella cheese. I noticed that Top buys food for three and he said he buy for Mandy too and it smell na nagpapalakas siya.

We talked about Top's identity and he said he was Kris, My old friend sa San Martino.

"Top do you still have the keys?"

I have no idea na siya yung batang kalaro ko noong 10 years old ako hanggang 12 years old and I keep his promise na babalik siya dahil may iniwan siyang wooden box na naka lock and ioopen daw namin once na nagkita ulit kami.

"But do you still have the wooden box?" Top asks me and I know that I keep it in my dorm at nasa drawer ko yun I think.

"Ako na magda-drive Amber!" Top offered.

We used my car para bumili ng pagkain sa malapit pero mukhang napalayo kami dahil sa mga sinabi ni Top at nakarating kami sa San Martino kung saan ako pinanganak at nag aral ng Elementary.

"No ako na I'll drive and tell me what happened to you after going to states."

I drive the car and I let Top to tell me how he handle the environment in states.

"Mama decided to go in states nung 12y/o tayo and dad had really good in our company which is pinamana ni Lolo sa kanya, si mama nagkaroon ng isang maliit na store ng mga beauty products na iniimport niya from Korea and Thailand ang mga binibenta niya. I entered a school na malapit lang samin para hindi ako mahirapan and if I'm not mistaken CShy School ang name ng school ko noon."

I think nahirapan din siyang mag adjust because naranasan ko ding mag aral sa ibang bansa for almost 2 years.

"Is it hard to adjust? New environment and new people around you? Because naranasan kong mag aral nung junior years ko sa Thailand na English ang verbalism and I almost died dahil wala akong naging kaibigan sa unang 4 months ko dahil I can't manage myself on speaking english and I tried to study their mother tounge but I end up going back here dahil tinapos lang ni Mom yung business niya sa isang client dun." I added my thoughts dahil sobrang hirap mag adjust but it was fun to explore.

"Nope it's not hard to adjust dahil nakatagal ako ng 5 years hahah but it's hard to forget about you. No kidding dahil I always check your IG photos and Twitter account." Top says that he is stalking me.

"stalker? Kalalakeng tao adik sa pag s-stalk? Btw, Am I your first boy to court?" I asks.

"No! But you are my first love."

Tsk! Pinagbobola neto! Hindi naman ako madadala agad sa ganto kahit na childhood friend ko pa siya, syempre madaming nag bago sa kanya.

"Stop being boisterous Top! You always sounds funny not sweet huh! Need to practice how to flirt in a cleanest way Top!"

We arrived home and ubos na namin kanina pa yung binili niyang Café latte and club house pero yung kay Mandy ay andito pa but tulog na siya. After taking a half bath I've decided to give the wooden box para makita ko na kung ano ang nasa loob nun since he gave it to me.

"Top! Psst! Here is the box." I threw it to him.

"you take care of it huh! Just wait I'll get the keys nasa couch ko ata naiwan."

Lumabas siya ng room dahil naiwan niya yung susi dun and I'm excited kung ano ba talaga ang laman nun.

"I think I forgot to bring the keys of that wooden box kasi wala dito yung small key ee pero I have that don't worry hindi yun mawawala." I felt sad when Top says that he forgot his key.
