"Norman wake up. I'm here." Mama said sweetly.

"Oh hey!",Norman said groggy. Yawning. "Can you get me some water please?".

"Sure." Mama replied she walked to the sink in the room. She grabbed a cup and filled it with water. She walked back to the bed and threw the water in Norman's face.

"Ugh! What was that for?",Norman yelled.

"Who's the broad that called the house at about 1:00am Huh? She asked to fool around with you!", Mama yelled.

"Oh, Crap!",Norman yelled.

"Yeah oh crap!", Mama yelled back, "You're lucky, I'm staying with you because of Ali. But you bet your sweet ass I'm leaving you when you come home from the hospital. Then you and that hooch can live there!"

Then she stormed out. When she got home Eleanor was asleep. Mama was tired too. She took her shoes of and sat on the velvet love seat she wouldn't see after Christmas. She soon fell asleep. 8:00am The grandfather clock rang. Mama woke up to find Eleanor mad breakfast and the kids were eating.

"Hey there Ms.Bryant! Sleep well?",Eleanor said.

"Hey Mrs.Rigby. I slept fine.",Mama replied with a smile.

"Anne we have to do some work over break. Mrs.Friedman, the teacher what's you to teach us to read.",Ali said sweetly.

"Okay. Eleanor you mind watching these children later on? I'm having lunch with Rev.Jones.",Mama said.

"Won't bother me none.",Eleanor replied. That day mama taught us basic sounds and what not. I loved to read and learn. Ali not so much she kept drifting off while mama was taking. Mama went upstairs after we were done. She left us some passages the Teacher left for us to read. She wrapped some gifts. She came down and checked up on us. I was done with 4 passage , Ali still on one.

"Ali, are you confused?",asked Mama

"I'm fine.", She replied.

'Maybe I should get her some help.' Mama thought. 'Well we can work on that later, I have to go'.

"Well Eleanor is going to resume y'all's lesson okay. I'm having lunch with the reverend. Bye love yens!", mama said. She drove to the restaurant. Rev.jones already there. He was wearing his usual all black with the collar. He was a heavyset man with a thinning beard. Mama in her polka dot dress walked to the table.
"Hello Anne." Rev.jones told.
"Hello Father." Anne replied. Anne told of the terrible things Norman had done.
"That's terrible!" Rev. Jones said.
"Indeed!!" Anne said.
"I figure I should tell you this. Norman had his eyes fixed on marrying ya!" Rev. Jones said disappointed.
"Well I'll be! I'm glad I didn't marry that two timing kiniving..." Anne started.
"Enough!" Rev. Jones yelled. Then he left. That night Anne didn't sleep well. She had to put the presents under the tree and then tomorrow drive them all up to the hospital. She would have to pretend that everything was fine with Norman. She would have a long day.
