Yunho was at his look-out post as usual. Since the three of you plus Keonhee left, not a lot was happening on the ship. The only thing was that everyone was pretty down. Soon, his boredom got interrupted as he noticed they were getting closer to the land, the town near the castle, to be precise. He warned Yeosang who went directly to Hongjoong's cabin.
"We should stop then" the captain ordered.
"Oh, and Yunho said Wooyoung's boat was there" Yeosang added which clearly troubled Hongjoong.
He nodded before asking him to prepare to ship to accost. As soon as they arrived, they went downtown to explore. The main thing in Hongjoong's head was to find his missing team members.
"A market!" Seonghwa exclaimed. "We need food, can we go take a look?"
Hongjoong agreed but ordered to stop you, if they saw you. Jongho accompanied Seonghwa and together, the wandered around the market.
"Fresh fruits" Seonghwa said pointing to one of the stands.
"Ah, it's been forever since we ate one of those" Jongho said as he felt his mouth water at the sight.
"Can you go check for some meat while I buy the fruits?"
"Oh, sure!"
They went separate ways and Jongho continued to walk around. He saw a lot of merchants selling fish, but let's say they had enough of these. As he was about to stop to get the meat he wanted, he noticed a familiar face among the crowd; You. He was about to greet you, but then remembered his captain's orders. He wasn't what he meant by 'stopping you' so he came up with the best solution in his mind: knock you out.
So that's what he did, coming from behind you before giving you a pretty good punch on the back of your head. He felt bad, but proud that he fulfilled his duties. He brought you to the ship where the rest of crew went back.
"Is this Y/N?" Seonghwa gasped horrified. "And you didn't even brought the meat?"
"Hongjoong asked me to stop them, so I stopped Y/N as soon as they got in my sight"
"Stop, not kill" Hongjoong facepalmed. "Anyway, you still caught them so I guess, good job. I'll take care of them now"
He took you from Jongho's arms and he went directly to the aft hold.
"Father, who is this?" Seohyung asked when she saw you.
"This is Y/N. I want them to meet you when they wake up. I think it's time you interact with someone else other than me and Uncle Mingi"
She nodded and observed your features. It felt weird to finally see a new person, but she couldn't wait for you to wake up.
Once you did wake up, you felt a huge headache. You were lying down in a bed and soon realized a little girl watching you.
"Hi.." you said confused.
"Hi! I'm Seohyung, nice to meet you!" she exclaimed and you immediately recognized the name.
"Wait, you're Hongjoong's daughter... Does it mean-"
"Yes, you are back on board" Hongjoong said.
You didn't notice him, he was sitting in the corner of the room.
"How do you know about her? Is it MIngi who told you?"
"Umm, yes and no" you answered which made him sighed.
"It doesn't matter, I would have introduced her to you anyway"
"My father wanted you to meet me" the girl said.
"Well, it's nice to finally get to meet you, but why?" you turned your head to his father.
"I took some time to think about what Mingi said before you left us. That I was obsessed about this whole.... thing. And I said to Seohyung she was the child chosen to save us when she was not... and I think she should meet the real hero of the story" Hongjoong explained and your eyes widened.
"So you figured it out?"
"It seems like I did" he chuckled. "I wanted to apologize too"
"All forgiven, Captain!" you smiled and Seohyumg clapped happily.
"Can our guest sleep here tonight?" she asked her father and he answered with a nod before leaving the room.
"Let's get to know each other, shall we?" you said.
"Yes! I want to know all about your heroic future! What are your plans to defeat the bad witch?" she excitedly asked.
"I- I don't know yet. To tell you the truth, I can barely fight properly"
She didn't seem to buy that as she pouted and shook her head vigorously.
"Haven't you read the book? My father read it to me so many times that I know it by heart! You were enchanted by witches!"
"I know that"
"You obviously don't know what it means, you are magical"
"Wai- ho- WHAT?" you almost screamed.
Before she could say anything, another scream interrupted her. Not a scream, a growl with a voice too familiar in your liking. Mingi's.
