Your P.O.V

I just got finished with my last class, and Addison is trying to talk to me again. "Will you talk to me yet? I want to apologize for the date."

I'm feeling sassy now, so I retort: "I don't know Addison, do you want to ask me questions you have regarding my sex life, or maybe you want to know when my period starts?" I pause for a beat and the continue talking. "I'll give you a hint, I'm not on it right now."

"I said I was sorry, I really do like you."

"Goodbye." I turn to go outside, and head home. I don't understand why he likes me. My stomach starts hurting, so I hurry back home. Why does my stomach still hurt? I thought it was just a little bit of food poisoning. I just take a Tums, and hope for the best.

When I get back home, I feel like my head is being hit with a brick, and I'm sweating like a pig. "Mom! I don't feel very good."

"What's the matter?"

"I don't know, but my stomach hurts, and my head feels like it's going to explode."

"Okay, sit down on the couch, and I'll take your temperature."

I sit and wait for Mom to come back with the thermometer. I'm so tired that I lie down on the couch, and almost fall asleep, but Mom comes back to take my temperature. "How high is it Mom?"

"It's high enough that we need to go to the doctor." I try to stand up, but my head hurts too much, and I fall down. Mom puts my arm over her shoulder, and helps me to the car. It doesn't take very long to drive to the doctor.

I get out of the car, and try to focus my eyes on something, but everything stays blurry. My head feels light again, and I realize that I haven't had any water in a while. The last thing I see is Mom heading inside.

My eyes flutter open, and I hear somebody calling my name. It seems to be a short person. "Y/n! Wake up!"

As I slowly regain more consciousness, I can see that it's the asthmatic kid from school. Something Kaspbrak? Why is he here instead of Mom? I manage to ask: "Where's my mom?"

"You're awake! Are you okay? Are you feeling dizzy? Is your vision blurry? Are you having heart palpitations?"

Damn, he's incredibly worried, more than I am. I wonder how much he'd be worried when it's him in trouble. "I'm fine, I just need to know where my mom is."

He lets out a huge sigh of relief, I'm assuming that it's because I'm okay. "She rushed inside after she saw you on the ground."

I'm not fully done processing what's happening, so I just respond with: "Uh huh."

He grabs an inhaler from his fanny pack, and uses it to calm down his asthma. I know he's here with his mom, but I don't know why he stayed out here with me. I don't know him very well, and I don't like his friend, Tozier.

"Why are you waiting with me? I barely even know you."

"It's the right thing to do."

The door swings open, and Mom comes out with the doctor. They have a wheelchair, in case I faint again. The Kaspbrak kid helps me up into the wheelchair, even though he's so tiny.

Doctor Greaver takes me with her into an appointment room, and takes my temperature. "Your mother already told me what you told her, but I was wondering if anything else has been bothering you?"

"I'm not sure if this matters, but I've been having nightmares a lot in the past few days."

"Do you mind telling me what they are about?"
